I voted yes but I will explain. There are over one hundred billion stars in out galaxy alone, let alone other galaxies, and most of them probably have planets orbiting them, so it is scientifically and probably IMPOSIBLE for there NOT to be other life somewhere else. The probability against it is astronomical. So is there other life in the galaxy/universe? Absolutely! Now do I think they come to this pathetic little mud ball in order to mutilate our cattle, buzz our air force bases and anal probe our farmers? Heck no! Big Time.

I vote yes. We can't be the only intelligent life in the galaxy (and in some cases, I use the word 'intelligent' generously).
As for seeing one, I'm not sure, I'll tell the tale and let you decide.
Years ago (I'm guessing I was around 10 or 11, I don't exactly remember), my aunt (who was a year and a half older than I) and I were walking outside at night. I remember looking up and seeing a circle of lights. Actually they were two circles, one within the other, and moving in opposite directions. Whatever it was, it moved slowly overhead and I don't remember seeing it after a while. My aunt claimed it was an airplane, but, growing up around planes, I have never seen any with lights in that design before, not even helicopters.
Also, it didn't make a sound at all, at least that we could hear.

Of course...there has to be someone else out there... we can't be the only one's to pull ourselves out of the primordial ooze...plus, have you met some of 'the people' on this rock? Sheesh...they're w-a-y out there! Even by my standards of strange, sheesh!

Have you heard the chances that everything would come together in this way though. They are astronomical. And the chances of it happening on another planet as well has to be nearly impossible. Still I voted maybe. I have a friend whose parents said that they had seen a UFO of some sort flying over their field behind their house. These are people that are very smart. They are very devout Christians and very respected at out church. For them to say something like that is impressive. Christians are normally not open to things like this. I am very, very strict in my beliefs but I still believe that there is more to this world than what we are told in the Bible. I am not saying the Bible is wrong in any way just that some things are not in there. I do believe that the things not in there are not all that significant though.

this is a tough one! i'd have to say i dont believe in them.i really think if they have been "spotted" for so many years they would have approached us, or have made themselves known. they cant be scared of us! obviously their technology would be far more advanced than ours. then again, maybe they are scared of us.maybe they think.."look what they do to each other...what would they do to us". hmmm...maybe!

the odd are against us being alone in the vastness of the universe... The Creeper is out there somewhere. Death Masque is out there too probably. Sorry Matt, had to. If anyone saw the Surreal Life with Vanilla Ice, he had a hilarious take on earthlings BEING aliens. He said (and I'll paraphrase) "We're all aliens like from a different planet or star; and the aliens that left us here are so intelligent that we couldn't even begin to comprehend how they got us here." To which I thought, "Well, if we ARE the aliens then, why couldn't we possibly understand how they got us here since we wouyld be their offspring!" It was so funny! But I think there are aliens somewhere out there in this vast universe. But I doubt we'll ever see them.

You know if there are aliens and the government knows about it then why would they ever tell us? It would cause mass panic and disprove many theories such as ones in the Bible and maybe even God himself. Just my two cents...
