I always enjoy Horror movies
I also enjoy action+Sci-Fi Movies and will almost always watch a kiddie movie

I will watch almost any kind of movie from just about any decade. One of my favorites is Gone With the Wind...I'm also a mark for John Wayne...but I'm also big into Star Trek and Lord of t he Rings. The only things I don't get into much are modern comedies or crime dramas. I'll even watch chick flicks, although truthfully most of them kill my brain cells and are a waste of time. But in my own movie collection, I'd say dramas are what you most prevalently find.

I am a huge science fiction fan. It is sad to see the genre in a state of decline in the last couple of years. And with Star Wars over and Star Trek having two feet in the grave, there is not much hope for Sci-Fi right now. Although Serenity was one of the best Science Fiction movies I have seen in recent years.
I have also recently come to appreciate the old "classics" like Casablanca, 12 Angry Men, Miracle on 34th Street, etc. In some ways those movies were much better than 99% of the films out today. They did not have big budgets to rely on, no special effects to hide behind, and no swearing to cover up weak dialog. All they had to rely on was a good screenplay and well written dialog, and the result was movies that are as great today as when they were made.

I love big action movies. John Woo is the man. Jet Li is the man. I love big explosions, dualing pistols, kung fu, and unrealistic storylines. Don't ask me why but those are the movies I can watch again and again.

It would probably be easier to answer a poll of least favorite movie types.
I'm fairly easy to please, cinematically.
Oddly though, I've never been a fan of straight-up horror movies (despite numerous assumptions to the contrary by just about everyone I meet). I've always had an overactive imagination and stayed away from them when I was younger, and I just sort of kept that momentum now. They just don't interest me.

usually can't pass up a decent SciFi flick, so that is how i voted...
However I welcome a good Comedy or Drama as well.

I like them all, mostly. Actually, I must admit I do enjoy cartoons, but I voted for comedy becasue noone else has and I felt sorry for it. And I do love a good comedy, never pass up the chance to laugh!

I'm not advocating porn at all, it was mostly for the humor. I voted other, because Western wasn't listed, and I never pass up the chance to watch a good old-fashioned Western. |

all I know is DEVILS REJECTS was the greatest damn slasher movie I ever saw.
Oldboy is a close second.

I like all kinds of movies, though we've been focusing on horror this week for obvious reasons. I like horror when it's a good story. I'm not a big fan of slasher flics or gore. I just get bored with them after a while. I'm happier with movies like The Ring, Jaws, Hide and Seek, and Silence of the Lambs.
Other than that, I'm a huge fan of adventure/dramas (didn't know what else to call them) like Clear and Present Danger and Collateral.

I gotta go with comedy. I like all kinds of movies (except westerns - I mean c'mon I'm from Detroit).
Love Sci-fi, action, and horror as well.
Best comedy movie I've seen hhhmmmmm......
I'd have to go with Coming To America. Every single scene in that movie is hilarious!
