Johnny Carson by far was the best. His shows were awesome

Leno has the funnier monologue but Letterman has the funnier skits, interviews, etc. If I'm watching, I'll watch Leno's monologue and then switch to Letterman for the rest of the hour.
Craig Kilborn's "Late Late Show" was awesome. It's too bad he left.

Gotta go with Conan, i dont watch every night or anything but I think most of his stuff is hilariously stupid. Hasn't been as good with andy gone but still pretty funny to me.

Conan is my favorite. I know Carson will always be king but he is kind of before my time. Leno is funny at times and Letterman is just plain annoying. Hey, got any gum?

Carson had some funny stuff. I think Leno gets a bad rap. He seems to be an all around good guy
I miss Rictor on Conan. Oprah, I'm a white male, so that's how she made her living...to bash white males...hate her. Donahue is a putz. Brady's show was tacky, but he seems like a good guy.
Letterman is a bitter sellout who was better suited for the 12:30 spot. But his Lawler-Kaufman expressions were priceless!
But I'm going to go with Leno cuz he gets knocked for no reason and you never hear anything bad about him (doesn't knock any other hosts, etc)

I understand the whole getting snubbed for Leno thing, but don't you think he's over it by now? Please elaborate. I'm interested to hear more on this. I like Leno too, but I really thought Letterman deserved Carson's spot. Have you seen the latest Kathy Griffin special where she dogs Oprah? I'm no Kathy Griffin fan by any means (I caught it while channel surfing one night) but man did she nail my every thought on Oprah. You've got to see it. It's really funny because it's so true.

Does The Daily Show count? Because Jon Stewart? Best interviewer ever.

Bri, way back when, Leno almost seemed embarrassed by the whole ordeal. I just always read that Letterman snubbed Leno afterwards.
I actually like Kathy Griffin though. I don't think she's a phoney like 99% of Hollywood (ex. Cameron Diaz...let's save the environment, but I'll take a private jet everywhere).
Anything that dogs that &^)^)^%*()^)*%)(*()^&%^ Oprah, I'm gonna check it out! Thanks for that heads up!

I don't dislike either one, and rarely have watched either one, but I think Letterman is the more funny between himself and Leno. I'd have to go with Carson for my favorite.

well...not boring Mike, but arrogent.
Kinda like that idiot Cameron Diaz talking about how she wanted to save the environment on that Mtv (one of the downfalls of society I may add) show, but she's riding around in her private jet.
But I just chose Leno because, while he may not seem the funniest, he seems the most down to earth (besides his car collection!)

Carson was so great! He set the standard for all of the current guys. Leno, Letterman, and Conan are all funny but they pale in comparison to Carson. Plus, he had Ed McMahon. I mean, c'mon.
