Now that I'm putting old school on hold temporarily, what fed should I start? Whichever I choose I plan on switching back and forth between New Beginnings and my new fed. When I get current on New Beginnings I will alternate between old school and my new fed.
The Options
1. GWFZ - If you vote for this option please give me some more info. Am I correct in the assumption that this features the PM 1 and 2 guys? Is it true that after PM3 there might not be one for awhile after that? Does this follow the game years of GWF? For example, is PM 1 supposed to be 2121 and PM 2 is 2122? Are there plans for any of these characters to possibly get a card update and make the official GWF roster in a future edition?
2. POW - I'm a big MMA fan so this intrigues me. Do the game years coincide with GWF? Is it easy to pick up without having previous game years? Do you have to join CoTG online to order?
3. LOW - I've played in the past so I don't really have any questions when it comes to this.
I've got a little while to make my decision so I'll leave this up for awhile as it may take sometime to post all my New Beginnings Stuff.

I voted for LOW just because that's my personal favorite.
As for one of your POW questions, you just have to have an account with COTGONLINE so you can receive the pdf file for POW 2122. I already printed out all my POW 2122 wrestling cards over at Office Max.

As stated, no, you don't have to be a Game Table subscriber or anything to get the POW pdfs. Yes, the game years do coincide with the GWF, as this set was for 2122. And yes, this set was designed for people who weren't current with the old CPC storyline to pick it up, New Beginnings-style, and get going. No previous sets needed if you order one of the packages with all the cards. Since you're an MMA fan, I'd recommend getting the Complete Throwdown package if you want cards for both wrestling and MMA. The MMA rules should be pretty easy to follow since you're familiar with the COTG gaming system. Just a couple of differences that make it more realistic to an MMA bout, but the three levels of offense and defense, and movement between them, is pretty much the same. So can you tell I think you absolutely positively must start a POW fed? Make it so!

GWFZ.
PM1 includes wrestlers who debuted in the Zone in 2119, 2120 and 2121. The booklet is written "in" 2121. I started my Zone fed in 2120, holding off the couple of guys (such as Overtime) who the booklet stated debuted in 2121. One of the Promoters has a list of which former GWF wrestlers became involved with the GWFZ after the end of 2118. PM2 goes along with 2122. If you're doing New Beginnings, a Z fed will be an excellent complement, allowing you to bring up guys if needed, and send some done that you're not using.

Absolutely go POW. Everything is easy to dive right into and if you are already a big MMA fan, I think you will enjoy it even more.
We all love wrestling, and you already have a whole bunch of wrestling feds going on, but the MMA is stuff is very refreshing and, like I said, if you already like MMA, it's just that much better.

I voted POW.....especially with the MMA options (if that interests you), it is a nice change of pace from the GWF. It just has a different feel to it and as such, might be appealing in that you wouldn't be running a GWF-esque fed alongside your actual GWF fed.
There are a lot of really outstanding, well-developed characters....cool storyline....it's a blast.
I'm only casually interested in real MMA myself, but having some new rules within the COTG engine is fun by itself. I almost prefer the MMA to the wrestling in POW, only because I have the GWF and GWFZ for 100% wrestling.

I'd say aCe, even though it's not a choice. I was GWF for a long time, and as of right now, aCe is the only fed I run. It's got a hardcore wrestling meets sci-fi movie type feel. The dark edge that it has makes it really stand out. I'm only in 2119 of it, but plan to incorporate guys from the second set by card 10 to get me some more meat. Which ever you chooose, it'll be a good choice. Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in on aCe.
