I just realized when reading back some of these discussions that there is a TON of extras out there. Things like new Ringside Companions, Match charts, LE and SE cards, etc. My question is, as I'm slowly buying the game editions, will these things come with them, or do I need to buy them seperately? How many (and which ones) would you consider necessary? And finally, will I know when to buy them by reading the books? I'd hate to purchase a set and then when I finally receive it find out that I'm going to have to wait even longer while I get such and such chart that's necessary to keep up with the story line. ;DSorry to be such a bother with all these mundane questions, but I promise once I get back, I'll be more of a contributer and less of a questioner! Thanks all! Steve

Ringside Companions+Match charts are solf seperately and a must have. I think you should get all the matches. They can pretty much be used any time even if they were used in a later set
MOST SE CARDS ARE A MUST HAVE
LE CARDS Are good as well
Some sets you need wrestlers that you can only get at the time in the Birtday Bash/Son of Bash Sets like Blizzard,Blazing Skull,Upstart Punks(Penthouse Punks),Sniper,Taechon, The Hellions, Meteor,Karah, Eagle and many others as well as the Create a Character wrestlers like Kati,Sabre,Varsity,Halcon Oro and the best of the bunch Theatre of Pain and many more

So if I buy the Birthday Bash and Son of Bash sets, I'll get all of those wrestlers? What are the Bash sets, are they part of the GWF storyline?

You do get them in these sets except the create a wrestler cards Kati,Halcon Oro,Theatre of Pain(Comedy+Tragedy),Varsity+ Sabre
In the bash sets you would get the ones listed will be and some of them to become some major players like the In the CPC Upstart Punks,Eagle(Talon),Karah+Blizzard, Zouave and aCe's Meteor
Almost forgot the greatest manager ever of the Savage Kingdom Gila is in the Bash Sets as well
All have had some runs in the GWF at some point
Of course you also get a great jobber in Sir Ender
If you want PM me and I can try and answer any questions you have or if you want info on what happens to some of your favorite stars, etc

Here's a quick summary: The Special Edition/Limited Edition cards are definately required, for the most part... they go with the year they came out. a few of the early ones (Bishop Hell and Alpha Force come to mind) are the same stats with new art, but most of them are simply updates. The best way to go would be to order them as you get the sets. The ringside companions are rules for special matches... so it depends how much you like special matches. You don't necessarily HAVE to buy them, as most of the matches are in the handbook of the year they are introduced in, but they are a very handy reference, and would allow you to have ALL the matches without buying every set. The Bash sets are 'extras' the wrestlers therein are jobbers or minor characters for the most part... or special versions of existing characters... I'd suggested taking a look at the site to see whats in them before buying them. The charts, for the most part, are really good... I think everyone will agree the updated versions of the standard charts are better than the original. The other charts, like the double team chart, definately add to the game, but you COULD play without them. And ask all the questions you want its no bother
