UPGRADE...here's why: Butcher's run versus Monolith at G-Con '06.
LOW fans don't get mad...but an engineered genetic freak who went through a Cleansing gets beat by Dr. Death and Bockwinkel; and there is one more in there, right Kevin? Not exactly what i think everyone was thinking would happen...so i bet he gets a tweak this is an upgrade so that he chances of loosing, go down even more...
Just MHO...we'll see this week!

I expect he'll be pretty much the same. Only way he gets upgraded is if Disaster gets a new card. Why would that be? |

Theoretically Disaster isn't as good as Monolith (higher pin, less offense, slighlyt weaker if consistent finisher) so if Monolith would get UPGRADED, Disaster would need to as well or it'd be a squash..and that's not acceptable to Aethrans.

So let me get this straight....and maybe I just wasn't paying attention here....they did a full-body shot picture of Monolith based on it being a big issue with fans? Yep. Really? I like the head shot card. Maybe people just wanted a better Idea what animan he is? I'll guess stat wise it'll remain the same, but a move or two will be renamed. If theres a stat difference it'll be something small like a tag on his dazed-1. Or his CHD becoming a CHE. Or DQ increase to 5. |

The news story said 'minor updates', so I suspect we'll see at least some stat difference.
He's actually done pretty badly for me. Made an impact in the Rumble but didn't win it, and since then he's zero for three; one for four if you count the exhibition card for the Bakery. Against some very strong opponents, but still...
Then again, Endgame and the Gladiators had terrible starts in my fed as well.
