Which would you prefer gets released first - 2087 or 2074? Personally, although it is not 'official', I would rather start from the TRUE beginning - 2074. Also, the online format lends itself to maybe even throwing in some additional 'online only' EC wrestlers as well. HINT, HINT, HINT, HINT, HINT!

Since I've started running an EC fed in past year (when I can squeeze it in), I'll go for 2074, also. It would be nice to have the whole story there.

Our beginning as a whole back in 1986/87 was 2087 and I think that's where it should begin on-line. IMO

I agree....2087 is my vote. The previous stuff is interesting background material, but I myself never had much interest running feds with those guys. My GWF world started with '87.

Would it be totally out of line to have them BOTH launched at the same time? So someone could purchase the EC sets and then later the 2087 sets or vice versa or BOTH? I'm sure it just comes down to the coloring of the cards more than anything. How many cards total were in those EC sets? I have them, but I don't have them right now.

Well I'd prefer starting at 2110, so I can catch up on the years I haven't played out yet. ;D
But I vote for 2074 for the same reason, so I can play the early years of the GWF. I'm not going to rewrite my entire GWF history, so my needs for other GWF years aren't too great. I'm hoping to use COTGOnline to finally run aCe and CPC feds more than anything.

2074. If I'm gonna start over at the beginning, I'd like to start over at the beginning.

2074. If I'm gonna start over at the beginning, I'd like to start over at the beginning. And the beginning is 2087 , the first ever set released by Filsinger games. The rest is just background and filler.

How about a POW set is done first and then put that online so we go even further back in time.

Would it be totally out of line to have them BOTH launched at the same time? So someone could purchase the EC sets and then later the 2087 sets or vice versa or BOTH? Bingo. It's always smart business to strengthen your products whenever possible. The GWF will always be the strongest CotG brand. For almost all of us 'card and dice' players 2087 was the gateway into the game. For the next generation that comes into CotG under this new online format...there's no reason for them 'not' to be given a chance to begin at the very beginning with the EC Era. Linking the EC Era to 2087 with a simultaneous or prior release to 2087 (and sets endlessly beyond) is the best way to elevate the value of the former. The promise of a chronologically perfect GWF gives the EC Sets a strong value for people looking to build a comprehensive history. Relegating EC back into the same retro set status it's faced since it's table top inception with a release put off until 'some time in the future' would push it needlessly into a fringe category.
