I agree with the Chaos being blue thing, I always thought so too. I think it'd be neat to see him crushing the cube, though! The SE Chaos would be neat I always saw Chaos as being either blue or purple. Or some combination of the two. |

Blue skin ? Green Cube?  That's the cosmic cube from marvel comics, it's yellow and glowing. I always saw Chaos the same color as the Glads, Tan like they are on cotgonline.com Oh well, Kevin K. can pull anything off and make it look good, but blue and green ? Is he an ex-seahawk linebacker or something?  Hey Thanks, As far as the cube I rather have it not look like Marvel comics thats why I think green should do. OH NO I am just thinking some may think Choas found Kryptonite! I also first though that Choas was the same color as the gladiators too. But after talking with others blue is the way to go. But Tom will have the final word on his skin color so not written in stone until printed. I also plan on making him look meaner than any other previous card. The first card and 1st special edition cards I feel are the best cards to base him off of. His last 2 cards were not that good. |

I always thought the Alpha Stone was Red? Funny how differently we all envision him. Sounds like a cool color combo. Can't wait to see it a G-Con.

Red sounds good. I may go with red for the Alpha Stone. I may go with a light yellow that fades to white. The stone color will be easy to change once I ink the sketches.

I always envisioned the Stone as green although it did cross my mind that it could be red. As for skin colour I always thought of him as a yellowy brown.

I always saw him lighter than Matador like tan or light brown. But Blue? NOOOOOOOOooooooooooo is he chocking on something? I realize they're aliens and all don't have to be conventional colors but blue? |

Yeah I always saw both Matador and Chaos both as a darker skin tone. NOT blue. Chaos as being the lighter skinned black man to Matador. Chaos having alittle more red/black skin and Matador having more brown/black skin if I am understandable.

Kevin, I won't be able to attend G-Con this year, but I have all of the previous releases. Could you please IM me if there is any way that I can order the Chaos card, so I can keep my collection in tact? Thanks a million.
I did always see Chaos as a black man, in fact I saw mot of the Citadel as being darker-skinned (with Janus and Skinhead being the exceptions). But why not blue, maybe just a deep blue to represent the fact that he appears to be darker skinned?
P.S. Assassin X looks fantastic (a little butt kissing never hurts, I suppose).

Thanks for the complements it makes the hard work all worth while with the great feedback from everyone. I really appreciate it. Chaos is indeed drawn and inked and will give you a good idea what he really looks like unlike his last two cards. Thanks to Ray and others loyal COTG fans for the emailed artwork it helped me out alot. I have all of his cards to base my drawings off of. After drawing Chaos about 3 or 4 times I finally got a drawing that I am happy with. I rather have him look good to everyone. I am just starting the coloring part which always takes the longest but really makes the artwork come to life. As far as saving a card that is not my call. I usually do have a copy for myself but all cards are serial numbered for Tom. When Tom says only 60 cards or 66 cards like bishop Hell thats all that is printed. Maybe I may have to increase the printing since I think this may sell out quick. But for the most part will still be able to order the card from Tom after Galacticon the cards sell quickly but he usually saves a few cards for auctions and for on-line ordering so you should be able to get his card even if you cant attend G-Con. The SE card of Chaos always made me think he was a granite type of skin tone. Not pale and white, but more of a grey slate that reinforced the idea that he was this huge wall with a grey stone that glowed white.
Also his outfit was shiny/silver armor against the granite skin.

I was always under the impression that both Chaos, the Matador of M83 and Prodigy are all three Black, and to depict Chaos as blue some 17 years after his creation is a disservice on various levels.
Most importantly, I always thought it was cool that Tom was progressive and open-minded enough to have one of the biggest stars of his wrestling federation be Black. Before anyone comes with the statement about how Chaos ruled a Galactic Wrestling Federation in the late 21st Century, those people should remember that he was created in 1990, a full decade before the Rock became the biggest superstar in wrestling.
Tom's forward thinking was also evident in that he made the Matador and Chaos two of the GWF's biggest stars, but gave them none of the stereotypical characteristics of Black wrestlers of the time, and before.
I know I have often laughed at the ultra-serious levels in which some take COTG, but it seems very harmful to the legacy of Chaos to completely alter his ethnicity and appearance because a current artist envisions him as blue. Also, while I know I am from the south and may be one of the few familiar with my reason for stating this, but blue is perhaps the worst color choice possible for Chaos when taking into account that he was supposed to be Black from day one.
