What I usually do is (in an 8 man or tag team tournament) ? 1 v 8 2 v 7 3 v 6 4 v 5 ================================== Semi-Finals Match A (winner of 1 or 8 v winner of 4 or5) Match B (wiiner of 2 or 7 v winner of 3 or 6) ======================================= Final Winners of Matches A & B
Then get your 8 wrestlers . Draw out numbers 1 to 8 . Or just use the top 8 ranked wrestlers (No #1 is Ch , No #2 is No1 contender , No #3 is 2nd contender etc )

First of all, I never reseed - wrestlers who managed upsets in earlier rounds should be rewarded not penalized for their good performances in my opinion
Bazzy gave an example of an 8-man, so here's a 16 man:
1 16 8 9
5 12 4 13
3 14 6 11
7 10 2 15

I rarely seed during regular season tournaments, but even when I do seed, I never reseed.

I don't usually seed either... I make the matchups such that I get the matches I want towards the end.
If I was inclined to seed though, I definately WOULDN'T reseed, I find that to be unfair.

www.download.com/Tournament-Bracket-Builder/3000-2136_4-10444952.htmlThis link downloads "tournament bracket builder" It's what I use to build my brackets. It's limited to 32 team brackets, but if you want something bigger, just divide by 2 and make 2 tournaments (odd seeded players in one bracket, evens in the other). Using it that way, you can make as big of a tournament as you want.

I guess I am in the minority for I reseed my wrestlers each round but I also re rank the wrestlers after each round as well I use a pro rated lottery to decide the seeding each round . The higher ranked wrestlers have a better chance of getting the high seeds and wrestlers can move up 4 spots and can move down any number of spots . As for ranking I take in account the last 5 matches the wrestler or team has fought and also the opponents win loss record with the more recent matches worth more the other matches .

When i do tournaments it is the luck of the draw to set up the brackets. I remember there was an IP tournament that i had set up and at the start of the second round Star Warrior was pitted against Alpha Force and Spike was seeded against Massacre. I am currently doing a Hardcore tournament in 2120 and there are some interesting matchups.
