So I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on getting Avarice into my GWF fed.
My fed team makeup is pretty much the same as the official storyline. I split up Stars & Stripes and American Guy is a major heel, now in a dubious alliance with Omen/Nosfera...but other than that, it's pretty much according to Tom canon.
So I was looking for some suggestions -- what team/alliance do you see Avarice most logically joining?

Yeah...Epoch. Somewhere near the top of the villain team. He is a big time player and needs to be associated with a major team. I have him with Epoch as kind of a hired super free agent and it works for me.

I had him in a G-1 climax style tournament where he was the mystery seed. The only thing is it didnt work out for me because all the top tier guys just owned him .I also think those Tom dice can do crazy things to my stories. Avarice is perfect for the free agent/ slash mystery opponent role to get the huge pop. I may have him just pop up whenever I need a quick gun for hire or open challenge. I still havent pulled the trigger on giving him a essence run at the gold though.

That raises another good question -- for you guys who added him to your GWF -- how's he holding up against the GWF talent? Mid-card? Upper? Lower?

Upper mid-card with the potential to be Upper-Upper.

I am working an upcoming angle that brings in Avarice with Star Warrior. Avarice will be responsible for starting to turn Star Warrior heel.

Awesome thread. Never realized Avarice would be as durable as he is.
Very cool stuff.

Thanks -- yeah, I love the character. One of the coolest COTG characters, period.
When COTGonline is up and running and the new aCe is out, it's entirely possible I might just keep Avarice in there too and run it as a sort of different story arc. Normally, I keep aCe, CPC and GWF contemporary and not conflicting, but with aCe being paperless and online, I think I can pull it off.

I put him in my GWF, too. I had him with Central Command but then he turned face and had some great matches with Epoch, Kill Prey, and most recently, Monolith.
I like the Cosmic 4 Horsemen idea.
