2120 should arive today. I'm in Septemer of 2119. This will be the first time I move fromone year to the next. Just wondering how everyone else handles it.
I'm kind of thinking about doing like New Japan and useing January to sign new contracts and have the new people debut after that.

In EC I do them all at the start of the game year, but later on, when there's more entries per year, I think I'll stagger them after the start of the year, depending on storyline or I could do a random dice roll to decide who enters when.

I have them enter staggered at my choice and discretion. I always have them come in however at the Deimos Perennial which I run as a monthly event (12 times a year). But like always it is up to YOU PROMOTER!

I see a lot of people mention the Deimos Perennial. Does everyone use it as the same event? I was thinking of useing it as the first big show of the year and maybe having a tournament for the newer wrestlers to get the in the mix.

I just bring in everyone at once. when GWF and CPC were released at the same time (especially when it was twice a year) I used to have them wrestle each other to test them out before everything.

I don't call it anything, but I start each year with a singles and tag-team tournament with the wrestlers seeded by the end of the year standings. New wrestlers and teams are seeded by "reputation" by never in the top 10 for singles and top 5 for tag-teams (I just started 2090, so in later years with more wrestlers, the number will probably go up)

In my fed, the Deimos Perennial is the first card of the year and is considered the 'Wrestlemania' of supercards. I introduce all newly contracted wrestlers there also.

I used to try to slow roll all roster additions and changes, but it quickly became too much for me to keep track of. So now my Fed has an offseason.

All at once. I stick pretty close to Tom's storylines so basically whatever is in the handbooks that come with each edition I just say that stuff happened in my fed and just start rolling out the new guys. I'm usually so excited to use the new guys I couldn't slowly do it.

I gotta clarify....I runs seasons in my fed Sept.-June and then do Summerfest my version of the Great American Bash with just my top guys...in Sept. I break in my sets..(i.e.im 2089 set so in Sept. it will be 2090) then I do it again in Feb.

Since I started my fed in the middle of the year...My fed is done in real time...The new editions are made in July...so I get them and as my storyline permits I insert the new characters...It usaully takes a month or two of play to get them in...Now this Promoter Madness thing will change my Fed even before the new editions... ;D

I tried to bring guys in slowly for a while but I got burned bad in 2120 when I only used Gatekeeper for about 4 or 5 cards (I waited til the middle of 2120 to introduce him and then he was injured pretty bad by Valour). So in 2121 I just brought everyone in pretty much at the beginning. Still haven't intro'd Sultana yet, and it'll probably be 2122 before I do.

It just depends. If the handbook says they come in earlier, i do that. But for the most part i bring them in all at once.

I always bring guys in as it makes sense story wise.. sometimes that's early, sometmes its late.
Sounds like I'm in the minority though, but its not like you'll ever see a 'new wrestler PPV" event in WWE, (or anywhere) guys come in throughout the year, one or two at a time, so that's what I do, too.

I would usually bring in guys over a few months, mixing in new debuts and revisions. I didn't like dumping everyone in at once, although I understand how some might like a big kick off card at the beginning of the year. By mixing them in slowly, it allows everyone to get a moment to shine and not get lost in the shuffle.

I do it all at once but am considering bringing some in or changing it to see if it works better. I think to not off set my record keeping Ill leave it after really exploring it but just thought Id add my 2 cents/
