COTG ARTIST TOURNAMENT FINALS!: Carter vs. Banks!

Well here we are in the Finals...The final four was a let down as Brian Bendis took an orphan like beating from Chuck 22 votes to 2, and Banks put down wife-beater drawing Jeremy Su 23 votes to 5.Had this tournament been called "Most wife-beaters drawn by a single artist" Su would have taken it hands down. But it'not so later buddy try to use your imagination sometimes just a thought...

I'll cast the first vote, and defy "tradition" and go with Banks.

Chuck is the original and will ALWAYS have a special place in the COTG pantheon, but Banks is more consistent in his quality. Chuck had a few incomparable drawings, but he also had some years where it looked like he just mailed it in.

His ups were high, his lows were really really low....so I'll go with the consistent quality of Banks.

Hard to vote against Chuck, but some of his later stuff was weak. Banks get my vote.

Not familiar with Bank's work since I never got past 2118. Have to go with Chuck! The original Thantos is where it all started!

He really seem to have the pulse of what COTG guys should look like. Not too superhero-ish...but what wrestlers in a futuristic federation look like.

It was a tough choice, but Banks gets the vote here...IMHO Larry Snelly is still the best...

I voted too late before I read it was over, but Banks needs his own finisher called the DARYL BANKS SPANK or something....he's totally crushing the rest. I agree with the wifebeater thing by Su too...I didn't notice it so much until Swarm pointed it out. Hannibal King was ok, but something wasn't right. Daryl is the man for sure. Hope he stays around for quite some time.
