Bendis was all over the place but ended with a bunch of blehh drawings

I actually didn't mind Gustovich...Commander Sam 2079 is a badass drawing. Besides, if it's a double CO then somebody gets a bye. Unfair.

Wow Bendy is charging back w 6 votes. I say he is way better than Gustovich. Bendy had some great drawings like the first Mandrill and Max Shield...not to mention the Pegasus SE which was always one of my favorites...
but...with that said...
He could draw some guys so damn bad I felt like he wasn't even trying. That's what made me mad about him. For example...he draws the first Mandrill...great, great art...then he draws the new one and he looks like a pig? I don't get that. That's why Bendis sucked. He had it in him but he just wouldn't try sometimes and to me, that's worse than just sucking like Gustovich.
Which is why I voted DCO.

I have to make a vote for Bendis, I like Pollux a great alien drawing, And Bendis did show up to a con and he took every bit of critisim that Butcher and Nadon placed on him.

No matter which of the three shadow king Bendis faces he won't get a single vote I hope.
Bendis is embarrassed about his stint with COTG, he denies ever doing it becauce he's such A BIG SHOT NOW !......
We seen him one year at the Pittsburg comic con and he was asked about it ( not by me because I won't talk to the self rightous SOB ) and he acted like he didn't know what they were talking about.

And I agree with you he did do some cough* good stuff * cough (man that was hard to say ) but you hit the nail on the head. It seemed a lot of times he didn't even try and halfassed it. He also shaded WAYyyyyy too much for his lack of detail. |
