With all due respect Mr. Mueck, Chuck was the first and while he had some stinkers his stuff is classic.
Umagapotomus is spectacular as is promoter madness, wish you was matched up with Bendis or Gustovich.

This is a tough one. I loved Carter's stuff, especially the early cards. Werner, though, did a kickass job on PM. But I've gotta go with the original here, no disrespect intended to Werner.

Well he drew Ensor also but you see how the maniacal one voted. ( Oh yeah Matt I remember your name from the old Super Report days)

This is tricky. The original vs. the newbie. I am kinda biased because I have seen The Surgeon drawing Werner did and it is awesome! But it is hard not to vote for the legend Chuck.

Werner is awesome but Chuck is the original. It's hard not to pick the guy who drew the 1st Gladiators, Wolf, Star Warrior, and Thantos.

I chose Werner slightly ahead of Carter...since Werner's art has progressively improved since he hit the scene and Carter's got worse...
And I'm figuring, Werner is in his early 30s, much like Carter probably was 20 years ago...so they probably have similar experience.
Good polls though...no doubt the toughest vote!

Werner, you're better than Chuck. That's a no-brainer. I think Chuck's just getting love cuz he was the original, which is unfair in my opinion. Answer me this everybody...would you rather have Chuck come back and replace Werner? Lord, I would hope not.  |

*Shudders* I'm not even particularly fond of Chuck's Legends work. chuckles....... Chuck is a legend, he paved the way even with some of his lack luster drawings by todays standards. Thantos , Wolf, StarWarrior are legendary stuff. There would be no Werners or Sus or Snellys if Chuck wasn't there with Tom at the beginning. |
