FYI, there is a new Hampton Inn in Jamestown, right accross the street from the Comfort Inn. Same price as Comfort Inn, but brand new.

you know i have always stayed at the Red Roof...back in the day it was a Motel 6 and one of the nicest Motel 6's i had ever stayed in...so i voted that way...but i will tell you that if i come this year i will be trying to find the military deal that someone mentioned last year...if was something like half price (i think at the Comfort Inn) of the G-Con rate. Gotta try to save where you can! We'll see...

I went with the Holiday more or less by default, because that's where the Friday night meet-up often is. I'm not sure there's any difference between it and Best Western, and I've never stayed at Red Roof...
Not to put too fine a point on it, but the Comfort Inn is a piece of s***. Two reservations I've made that they didn't have on file when I got there, lousy location, it takes an average of 37 minutes to get out of the parking lot, and it's just an inferior hotel in general. Don't know what the Hampton is like but as I remember it was in an even less convenient spot, buried behind the Mobil station.
(On the other hand, none of the other hotels gave me a room number upon check-in, in which there were two naked people on the bed as I opened the door. Which did happen last year at the Holiday...)

Not sure yet and as to why, due to financial issues. We should have them straightened out soon but I'd prefer to share a room anyways....gives me more to spend at the con. So if anyone's looking for two roomies, give me a PM.

Well after 17 cons I have stayed in pretty much every hotel in Jamestown and Falconer from the Gaslight Inn to the Carridge Inn, Holiday Inn, Best Western, Motel 6 Iand thr Red Roof Inn. The best deals are the Carridge Inn 35$ a night. This year I am at the best western for 55$ a night and that's includes breakfast. You have to book online though.

I've got a room booked at the Comfort Inn, since I'm riding with Eliath and thats where he is staying. Currently have a single bed, but I asked upon making the reservation and if anyone wants to room, I could switch the reservation to a double bed room.

Ill probably drive either alone or with my stepson. We can use lots of deodorant and colon and sleep in my car if we don’t get a room! =)
