If you think Umaga represents slavery in any way, shape, or form, I feel sorry for you. Let's see, a "savage animal" brought from another land that must be "handled" or he would be a danger to the environment he has been introduced into. How different would the character be if it was played by a large white man rather than some one of an "Other" race or ethnicity? |

I don't remember when they said Umaga would be a threat to the environment. Are you saying Umaga could tear down the rainforest by himself? Maybe Umaga is responsible for Global warming and melting the polar icecaps. Damn Samoan savages!  Abyss is trying to play that same type of character in TNA. Does this mean they're saying all white people are "crazy savages?" No. Just these characters are. Don't make a mountain out of a molehill.  |
