I just ordered the early classic set of 2074,2079,2084,2086. Where can I get the ones that i'm missing like 2075,76,77,78,80,81,82,83,85. I would be thankful for the help.

There are no sets for those years, you can buy GWF:Early Classics that'll fill in your roster gaps and explain the history even better. Other then that, if you want a great read and to throw Jack Hood into the equation, I suggest COTG:Genesis. Eventually, to keep current, you'll have to order 2087 as well, to add in those wrestlers throughout the storyline. But the short answer is order GWF:Early Classics and you'll have what you need.

Yes, Mike Melesky put this great set together along with a timeline for entries and departures and storylines for everybody. I've just started my Early Classics fed and it's a lot of fun.

In the early classic set, do they have the same cards as classic 2074,79,84,and 86 or are they all differant wrestlers. What i'm trying to say is are the wrestlers from the classic sets in the early classic or are these wrestlers that you can add to the early classic.

The Early Classics set "rounds out" the 2074-2087 years.
There are some 'new' old guys (like Paladin Power, Defiance, Hechilles and Caiman) as well as addition updates (Omega has a 'downgrade" that's between his superstar 2079 card and his jobber 2087 card... there's a Cosmos rookie card... Cosmos and Star Warrior updates with Warrior as a tag specialist... Dragon Fighter, KO Keller as a superstar, etc)
The book is also really good, as it give you a year by year summary of where things are going.
You DEFINATELY want the set if you're going to run 2074-2087

Yes, listen to Wildfire, the book alone makes it worthwhile and shame on Wildfire for not mentioning the best addition, Screw!

I can't list EVERY guy Well I guess I could, but I thought that would be silly... especially since trying to do so off the top of my head would sure would likely lead to me banging my head against the monitor trying to recall the one guy I would surely leave out.

I cannot recommend the Early Classics set enough. It is one of the best sets in all of the COTG universe, and that includes official sets. In fact, I picked this up at Gcon last year along with the most recent GWF set, and I preferred the Classics set. I'm probably (certainly) in the minority there, but point is it is a fantastic addition to your COTG universe.

I agree with EVERYTHING Hegemony said. I bought all of the Early Classics sets with some Christmas money. They just arrived in the mail last Saturday. There are a lot of great characters that I can't wait to start using. And the handbook from Early Classics of the 70's-80's is EXCELLENT. As stated above, it gives a great year by year breakdown of that era, including what wrestlers entered and exited the GWF each year. GREAT STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will start the dice rolling in my Early Classics fed this weekend. I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Early Classics was so good, it made me Relaunch my fed from the beginning using these new cards, and they are really excellent quality wrestlers. Great stats and art, great storyline, and it really add some depth to those early years. And the same goes for Jack Hood, who is nothing short of fear inspiring. In my fed, his actions were so savage and heinous, Jack Hood has become an urban legend akin to The Boogeyman.
The evil monster in children's dreams... not the worm-guzzling, Flavor Flav looking weirdo...
Just so we're clear on that...
Buy those cards!

Larry you can use this thread to gage the complete roster of the Early Classics set...and just about every other COTG set. It'll also show you which cards have been upgraded/downgraded. Only 'non-stat' cards are left off the list (managers, valets, etc). Credit Lord Rahl (for the system) and Big Bri (for the EC stats)Here's everyone from the Early Classics Era...
EARLY CLASSICS SET
K.O. Keller 45 (51) Hechilles 41 (48) Screw 41 (47) Caiman 41 (45) Cosmos 2083 37 (48) +2/+7 from 2079 card Star Warrior 2083 34 (50) +8/+15 from 2079 card Solar Flare 34 (44) Moonstrike 30 (37) Jammer 29 (41) Blood 26 (32) Morpheus 2082 26 (29) -13/-13 from 2079 card Ricken Prince 25 (30) Dragon Fighter 23 (32) Tano 18 (32) Cosmos 2076 18 (24) Trotarus 18 (21) Omega 2083 15 (22) -35/-31 from 2079 card Rama 12 (22) Cordsar 11 (21) Silvar -1 (5)

I am only half way through my first card in the Early Classics era, and I can already tell that this is going to be one of my favorite eras in the GWF.
Some of the ideas I am excited about are:
-A brand new wrestling federation starting from scratch and trying to build a fan base. For my first card, the arena was only half full, despite the fact that Morpheus gave away a lot of free tickets.
-The friendship/rivalry between Omega and Morpheus. I had Morpheus backstage freaking out because the arena was half empty, while Omega kept trying to reassure him that once the people understand what the GWF is all about it will become the hottest thing in the Galaxy. The relationship between these two will be a lot of fun to write.
-Wrestlers trying to gain a fan following. The fans, just like me, know nothing about these guys. Their popularity will depend on how well they perform in the ring.
-And then there's poor Bullwhip. He dominated K.O. Keller in their first round match in my Championship tournament. But Keller was able to hit his finisher and got the pin. Bullwhip got frustrated and began stomping on his hat. He then grabbed his lasso, which got tangled up in his feet on the way back to the locker room, causing him to trip. The idea of a clumsy cowboy trying to act rough and tough is going to make Bullwhip one of my favorite characters.
So my initial reaction to Early Classics is that it is a GREAT set with a lot of storyline possibilities. I can't wait to get the dice rolling again.

I started my current GWF fed about 2 years ago with early Classics (I'm currently in 2105) and it helped me create a great history. I also recommend Early Classics.

Yeah, what are you waiting for? Get Early Classics and watch some tremendous fed action. The feuds between Omega and Morpheus, The GameMasters and their feuds against Polarity and The Estorians, and to see such greats as Torin Caelum, Commander Sam and K.O. Keller in their prime is simply awesome. And thanks to those years, you can see why Omega was such a legend. I know I'm only halfway through 2090, but he is still the standard bearer as the 12 time GWF Galaxian Champion. And to say the The GameMasters (8 time GWF Tag Team champs) were one of the best along with Defiance and Paladin Power (7 times each) is an understatement. Serious, well written, great cards, and a wonderful chance to lay a great foundation for your fed. Buy it!!!
