Two neat things in 2089

Hey - taking a break form the Relaunch of my fed, as two very interesting tidbits occured in my GWF fed that I wanted to share.

1) I crowned the first ever Interplanetary Champion. The rules in my fed for the IP title vacancy is to hold a battle royal of singles competitors. To enter the battle royal, the only entry requirement is that you must never have held a singles title belt before. That way, it allows someone to get their first taste of a title run. And sure enough, it was an unusual winner... MUTANT.

2) Now, with three titles now active in my fed (Galaxian, Tag Team and IP), it would be inevitable that there would be one wrestler who would be the first to win all three titles. And sure enough, in 2089, a wrestler achieved that honor. Truthfully, I thought it would take years for a wrestler to do this, but this wrestler did this with just two years of experience.

Massacre was my first Triple Crown champ. Brute got injured which allowed Massacre to go on an awesome singles run. I think he acheived the Triple Crown by late-88, early-89.

Mutant, in my original fed won the IP title twice, both times off of Wolf. Try a Mutant vs. Wolf match for my sake, Mutant seems to get the best of him.

Pre-Relaunch, I did have a Triple Title Holder. Stigma, in the CPC, for two months held both the Interstellar, Heavy Metal and Cruiserweight titles. It will be quite a few card years until I have enough belts in my fed to see who needs to build a custom trophy case. Still, let's see how Wolf has done against Mutant in my fed...

Mutant won the Galactic Title in my fed but when the ref tried to hand him the belt Mutant tried to bite his arm so he dropped the belt and ran. Krakan then slid into the ring and declared himself champ.

I have three titles in my fed (Galatcic, Tag Team and Titan Death) and I think Bloodline, Valour & Disaster are the only ones who held two of the three titles at some point. One reason I added a Titan Death title was so I could create the possibility of having my own GWF Triple Crown.

Mutant has never won a title in my fed but has come close with Khan in winning the tap straps.

Mutant never won a title for me, but he and Death's Head had a great year in their one as a tag team.

Mutant held my GWF Title and the U.S. title, back in the day.

Mutant and Splatter were an unlikely team at one point in my fed, and managed to have a respectable title reign. That was the only gold Mutant ever held. I tried, especially after his mild upgrade, to get him into the Hardcore Title scene, but no luck.
