The Early Classics set is a mix of upgrades/downgrades of certain characters (Cosmos, Dragon Fighter, etc.) and totally new characters. I was wondering, out of the set, who the most popular "never seen before" characters were.
My Top 5
1. Moonstrike - cool name, plus, he can make for a great singles or tag wrestler.
2. Hechilles - great mix of moves and it was nice to see another top-tier guy from this era besides Omega, Morpheus, etc.
3. Wind Riders (Tano & Rama) - they make for a perfect white-meat babyface tag team; a lot like the Rockers.
4. Caiman - I usually don't like animal characters, but once I started using him, I liked him. He scored a lot of upsets over top guys right away, much like a Goldberg.
5. Screw - he could have a 5-Star match with a scarecrow.

Cool Thread!
My Top 5:
1. Screw. I just wish he had not left the GWF in 2079. I REALLY hope someday we get a POW set with SCREW back when he was still doing his SCREW U finisher.
2. Caiman. He won my Galactic Championship twice. I actually liked Caiman so much that I brought him back for awhile once 2087 started and had him host an interview segment called The Swamp on my televised cards. I also took advantage of the facts that Caiman was still in his peak when he left in 2085 and that his race ages really slowly to have him wrestle periodically all the way through 2088.
3. Hechilles. By far the most successful wrestler of all the guys listed on the poll from the Early Classics set as he won my Galactic Championship 7 times! That ties Hechilles with Torin Caelum as having the second most Galactic Championship reigns of all time in my fed (I'm currently on my last card in 2102). Only Omega's 11 Galactic Championship reigns surpasses Hechilles' 7 Galactic Championship Reigns in the history of my fed so far.
4-5. Paladin Power. Nobody during my Early Classics Period from 2074-2086 had more Galactic Tag Team Championship reigns than the 3 of Moonstrike and Solar Flare.
Next on my list would be Defiance.

I am going to say Screw. He looked and was awesome... too bad he never took the title before he retired.

I picked Screw over Hechilles by a point...I still use both in my EC Fed...They both has had the title...And they can still hang with the '86ers...(My EC timeline is shorter then written so I have time to use them for awhile)

I'd like to vote in your poll but you LEFT OFF KO KELLER!!!!!!!!! Next time I talk to him, I'm giving him your address I don't think Big Bri actually left out K.O. Keller. If you read his opening post in this thread, Big Bri was asking for your favorite "NEW" wrestler from the Early Classics set that came out in 2004 and not the Early Classics card versions of the guys that had already come out in previously released sets. K.O Keller earlier had a card released in Classics 2084. But, yeah, I really do like K.O. Keller's EC 2074 card.

All right, I guess.. *grumble grumble*
In that case, I'll vote for the Prince.. I like Screw alot too, but I really found alot of good story lines with the Prince, and you gotta love his finisher.

My boy StephenVegas hit the nail on the head!
EC K.O. Keller was my first champ. What a stacked card!
Nice to see someone other than Screw get some votes.

I just received this last week so all these guys are fresh on my mind, Hechilles is my vote. Moonstrike is a close 2nd, excellent move set, I don't think I can hold back on taking him out of tag action for a little Heavyweight title action.

Plus, I dig Edge too, and hope that Cena has to use a colostomy bag after tonight. Solar Flare got a serious knee injury in mid-74, taking him out of action for the rest of the year. Moonstrike worked his way into Heavyweight Title contention and beat Torin Caelum for the strap at my first year-end PPV, Revolution. Although he lost it pretty quick it was still cool.

Gotta get in on this one.
1. Screw - Not only are his matches good, but he could probably make others look good as well.
2. Ricken Prince - He makes a good heel in my fed, also known for his catchphrase.
3. Hechilles - Just started using him, and he rocks.
Love the early set so I have a complete history on my fed.

Screw was by far my favorite. He hasn't won a title yet but he is the best to book and he is fierce in my fed.
