Over the whole COTG history, in my Fed it's the Cosmic Forces..but many teams are right there...New Order were great, Brute and Massacre, Mercenaries, and Darwins Legacy.
also The Specialist and Master Race are climbing the ladder.

No Twin Blood! Ok I say Mercenaries, but Twin Blood was hot. Close to call between those two.

For straight-up dominance, I'd have to say Malice/Overkill after Overkill gets his Cleansing. They were monsters.

Got to go with Brute and Massacre as well. In my Fed they are only 2X tag champions, but one of their runs lasted over four years.

I broke up Brute and Massacre a couple of months into my fed because they didn't get the job done...So my pick would be Damage,Inc.(Spike,Brute)...Held the title the longest so far recently lost to Bones 187(Gan-Star, D-13)...Massacre currently teams with The Norseman(a.k.a Man-Mountain) in a team called Rumble.

The Original Gladiators. 13 time GWF Tag Team Champions. No one is anywhere near that. Add to that they held the belts for 102 cards and no one can compete with a 2 year reign.

The Specialists might be my favorite (see the avatar), but the answer to this one is Brute and Massacre. Once they got their upgraded cards, they were dominant. Best team ever, hands down.

I am in May of 2101 and so far (I started in 2074 with Early Classics) Brute and Massacre is definitely the greatest GWF Tag Team. Brute and Massacre just retired at the end of 2100 and they finished up with 9 Galactic Tag Team Championship reigns and 1 InterPlanetary Tag Team Championship reign.
It is not just the number of reigns themselves but the impressive length of these reigns as Galactic Tag Team Champions that have made Brute and Massacre by far the most dominant tag team in my GWF fed's history. Brute and Massacre at one point actually had the Galactic Tag Team Championship for exactly 4 years straight from October of 2090 until October of 2094. Some of the other lengthy reigns of Brute and Massacre as Galactic Tag Team Champions were from February of 2088 until June of 2090, December of 2094 until February of 2096, and May 2096 until May of 2097,

No brainer here...the original Gladiators (Brute and massacre)! They held nearly ten titles in their career and several singles titles as well...won every accolade there is to win in my fed!
In a FAR back second place..I would have to go with Mercendaries or Demons of Hydra/Ninja Assassins...

Thunder and Overkill
I'm in 2101, and they have THRASHED every team they've fought. Fourteen months straight as a team, not a single tag loss since they formed, and they won the tag titles in their first match.
Not even Brute & Massacre could get a single fall over them in a Torture Chamber match.

this really makes me wonder how good Millenium would have gotten to be if they stayed around longer. They retired as the champions in my GWF.

The Mercenaries. Before they hit the scene it was definetly Brute and Massacre. The Mercs ended up holding my tag title for 2 years 5 months and 18 days at one point, a record that I do not believe will ever be broken.

Keep the Faith Although I voted for Brute and Massacre, the Mercenaries are definitely the greatest tag team currently on my GWF roster because I am in May of 2101 and Brute and Massacre retired at the end of 2100. The Mercenaries are my current GWF Tag Team Champions and this is their third such reign. They have also had 2 reigns as InterPlanetary Tag Team Champions. On my last card, the Mercenaries successfully defended their Galactic Tag Team Championship against Thunder and Overkill in a best 2 out of 3 falls match by winning 2-0 outright. |
