Monolith made his stunning debut as the New Year's Bash by not only beating Disaster in a non-title match, but injuring the champ as well. Earlier on the show Kill Prey won a number one contender's match over Endgame. Now both are laying claim to the next title match. Commissioner Massif has decided to let the fans decide who should get the match. (see cotg.proboards12.com/index.cgi?board=cotgcards&action=display&thread=1153080149 for my fed results and details) So, who's next in line for a title shot? Kill Prey or Monolith? My storylines hang in the balance! |

I was also thinking of a Tirion Triple Threat match. But I voted for Kill Prey since he won a #1 contender's match. If Disaster defeats Kill Prey he can then defend his title against Monolith. If Disaster loses to Kill Prey, you can attribute it at least partly to Monolith giving him those 3 END OF ALL THINGS (one of which was on the steel chair) and then you would have both Disaster vs Monolith and also Kill Prey defending his title against someone else as future main events.

Kill Prey's running away with this with only two days left before the poll closes. Without a serious run of votes for Monolith, this is really going to wrench up the tension between Kill Prey and Monolith. Especially if Kill Prey beats the champ by taking advantage of the injury he sustained at the hands of Monolith. Monolith will have his hands full with, of all people, Payback though(who never did anything in my fed until he joined Divided We Fall). So far Payback has been the only guy to do any serious damage to Monolith, including two straight dq finishes in six-man matches with Divided We Fall and Eugenics Project where Payback lost it and nailed Monolith with chair shots during a brawl on the floor.
If Disaster falls to Kill Prey and Payback happens to pull off the upset, it could really change the direction of tihngs in 2121 right from the start.

I'm going with Kill Prey. He won the #1 contenders match.
Or else you can always do what WCW did to DDP when he won a match (I think it was a battle royal) that was suppose to give the winner a world title match at a PPV. Instead of a PPV match they gave him a televised match, and I don't even think it was for the world title I believe they substituted the TV belt instead. But, to be fair WCW did give him a ring to defend instead.
On third thought Kill Prey Vs Disaster for the Galaxian titles is the only way to go.

Looks like Kill Prey is getting the shot, we all wait with baited breath as to the outcome of this match up!! Cannot wait for the results! Fan interaction always makes things interesting and fun. Not only as a viewer but as a Promoter.  |
