I know Mike M started a similar thread as to What do you Play. But if you only had ONE choice, what would it be?

BTW, I chose Legends. I love the GWF, but seeing all of those guys you grew up with...that's a big dream. Plus Tom's Legends is 100000000 times better than the old Superstar Pro Wrestling game back in the 80s
But, my choices are
1) Legends
2) GWF
3) My Memphis bootleg creation - plug for myself
4) CPC - I love Mark's writing and the editions, but I'm a few years away from the CPC though
5) Early Classics - I'd love to go back and explore it. I guess in 18 years when all the kids are gone....
6) aCe - I haven't gotten the editions, but it sounds interesting and I am open to playing. I'm sooo far off from getting there though

I chose bootlegs, because for the past few years, I made my own balanced sets and what not when I was running the COTG: Next Generation bootleg newsletter. I love the GWF and CPC as I still keep up on the GWF sets, just don't get time to play them. I think the creativity of my own guys keeps me going. Haven't gotten any of the LOW sets or aCe, but have seen them, and they look really good. Only so little time to balance everything.

I love GWF. I also do EC but that to me is apart of GWF. I wouldn't mind getting into CPC or aCe. Only as a Fed to send exiles to for a few months or so. LOW don't excite me. What ifs are fine but it warps the past into something you can't get to. Just my opinion.

I've already completed Early Classics and I play the GWF almost every day. But if I had only one choice (thankfully I don't), I personally would go with Legends. LOW is an awesome way of honoring professional wrestling's great past, serves as an excellent means of learning about past wrestling greats, and in my opinion still doesn't prohibit anyone from using their imagination to its maximum ability. In my LOW fed, I throw chronology aside and let my imagination and the dice decide who teams and feuds with who and so forth. I can't wait to next week when Legends Fever begins shipping!

I voted......
1. aCe-cause it is just real sweet right bout now! Alot of pinfall victories, not many DQs. Plus the balance of talent is spot on(only a couple jobbers!!)
2. GWF-only second because of New beginnings, I need a few more big names in my fed. To many midcarders and jobbers.meaning there are 6 really great guys and the rest are getting crushed on a regular basis, so some new blood will be good!
3. CPC- I'm still early in my CPC fed, but it's real good and the wrestlers are growing on me.
4. LOW-I'm running it but it's not as smooth as my other feds, but it's early..
5.Early Classics- not running EC right now, I do like the history lesson and hearing bout how everything came to be but lost it's luster after awhile..

How cruel a question is this one ? Its like do you cut off your arm or leg ? (OKay maybe not that bad) . Sadly forgive me Tom (GWF was first and shouldn't we really stay LOYAL . If NO GWF would there be now a choice ?) . But I would say Legends . Yes even dumping my own SnG Bootleg & Kaz's BCW .

Legends....It's hard to pick against GWF but right now I'm having a blast with Legends and its also the only one right now likely to get new blood for my taste.

Look, I'm a CPC loyalist as much as the next guy (whoever that is...), but honestly... Can there be any answer to this other than GWF or Legends? One got it all started, the other is for when you want to be down to Earth and not reaching for the stars. So it all depends on whether you're grounded or not, I suppose! But if anyone else wants to vote for the CPC, that's okay, too.  |

Thats a tough call, but I have to pick GWF by a hair over CPC and aCe, just because of the history factor. Legends I can't get into running a fed for, but I like running tournaments with those guys. Early Classics was great to try out, but I wouldn't run a full fed with them. And bootlegs are so 5 years ago...
