Just curious as to what people think.

I like it for the most part but I'll be honest in that about 50% of the issues I just turn to the rankings page and then never look at it again.

This last promoter was one of the weaker ones, IMHO.
That whole aCe gauntlet match just ate up way-WAY too much space.

When I used to get the Promoter, I'd look at everything BUT the rankings. I don't get it now because I play Early Classics and nothing in the Promoter is relevant to what I'm doing in my fed. During my first run with COTG I was still a few years behind the current stuff at the time, so I'd just order back issues that corresponded with the era that I was playing, and got the newer ones as I caught up. I enjoyed it.

FYI, Big Bri, during Lord Nexus' Hall of Fame inductions, I did reference K.O. Keller and Paladin Power...which led to at least one post (I think it was Chris Ingersoll, actually) asking who Moonstrike was...=)

I think for what, $1.00/issue, it's well worth it. Although I do think the website has stolen some of its thunder. But I enjoy reading Tom's updates on anything and everything. The rankings are a must-see, but it's not what it used to be.

Gatekeeper, its more like $2.50 an issue. If it was $1.00 an issue then it would definately be worth the money. $2.50...not so much.
I definately agree that the internet has stolen some of the Promoter's thunder. Its good that Tom saves some exclusives for the Promoter, but most of the stuff is fan-fiction.
I'll still continue to get it because its nice to get something with the Filsinger Games logo on it ever couple months.
