Although he was a bit hardcore at times, in my fed the fans loved Thunder and he loved them. he was always kind of egotistical and loved it when the fans cheered him no matter the planet.

Star Warrior was always the top FACE, but Wolf always got the best pop...no matter what team he was on or what feud he was in...
Still does when he shows up as a special guest on a card every now and then...

Actagon was much more successful for me as a singles wrestler than as a member of the Greek Gods. He had many memorable matches against Thantos and was easily my most popular wrestler.

Crap...
I spent so much time utilizing the slogan "the good guys aren't so good, and the bad guys aren't so bad" that I totally forgot to add plain-ol' good guys! Well, I guess Prodigy is a face, a former (albeit short-lived) GWF Champion. Wolf has turned more Neutral for me, but he still gets a huge pop nonetheless. I think I made Ursa Major a face, but who cares about him?
Poo! I need to go back and straighten out my roster...need faces.

Should it surprise you if you read my pick for top heel? Max Shield had a lot of the qualities of Star Warrior and Lord Nexus but was even more succesful than them. I understand it was time for him to go, but I really miss having a top face like him in the GWF.

The faces have never done a whole lot for me...Heels have really dominated my title scene, but having said that, you gotta hand it to Star Warrior. While he had big ups and downs, he held the GWF title five times, only beaten by one man, his rival Thantos.
I'd also give a nod to Alpha Force. He really became top face when he joined in 2093 in the booklets, and got the "top feud" in the fed. Much like his brother, however, he just hasn't had a stranglehold like the heels did.

First I started with 2119 so my main "face" is Endgame.
second: I just stared with early classics and so far the face there has to be Omega.
