Terak by a Landslide in this one
My top 5 or botom 5 are
1-Terak-Easily the worst 2-Commander Sam-His teams never was as good as it should have been 3-Mangus Colby-Had an awesome team and he couldn't win 4-Darkos-Had some great talent but not much success 5-The Collector-He created some great characters but never had alot of success
The only reason I have Thantos on this list is his teams never seemed to be as good as they were soppose to be

Who can argue Terak?
Over-all though, I'd have to say Michiko Ishida...she was so bad she didn't even have a playing card...total waste of a character that when gone, delivered zero pay-off.
after her I would have to say Solaris. Her didn't do much to make his wrestlers better, but he was a cool character.
I can't vote for Magnus Colby, because the Masked Assassins were one of the greatest super-groups in GWF history, and most recently he has managed RUSH to several titles, and an un-defeated record in the CPC.

My worst manager was Solaris...unless of course he was interfering by diving off the turnbuckle. Then he was a stud.

Ok the worst managers in my federation were ...
#1 Omega - Im sorry I hate this guy, Star Warrior's crew nose dived when he took over the team. Alpha Force was garbage, Pegasus turned the brothers against each other so they would be forever removed from the title picture and Omega was helpless against this. In the real book he doesn't really do anything.
#2 Magnus Colby - His rating sucked and he really couldnt do too much
#3 - Commander Sam ... Jim I read your list and was going to try and stick up for Sam, but then thought of it too and Sam's teams really collapsed. So I am going to have to second your nomination there.
#4 Solaris - agree with Tom on that one lol
#5 Maramus - he's there for five seconds, screw that Im not going to buy the card lol
SPACE DEVOTED TO DEFEND TERAK ... I kind of like Terak as a manager. He was bad and then he added Mollock and Walpurgis and I really like that aspect of his card. Plus he was a better manager than wrestler, which isnt saying much LOL. But 1) he had a better distractor rating 2) More creativte options with him 3) Interesting options like Walpurgis interference

Terak could never get it going...then again he seemed to take the spot light and never translated that into any prestige for himself or his stable...Stalker could have gone so much further, but he was unfortunately "stuck in Terak's Shadow"...see how bad that sounds!
While Colby hardly every got involved in matches, he is by far way more influential in the history of the COTG than 90% of the rest of the federation throughout history...he ranks right up there with Omega, Morpheus, Thantos and Cordanus as the most influential individuals in the COTG...

Ok Jeff ... Ill bite ... WHY???
Terak has decent stats, and his interference modifiers make him an interesting character ... unless i am reading the topic wrong it's not called "Who was the worst manager in the official storyline?" ... that I could see Terak in the top five. But if Im starting a federation from scratch and we have a choice of choosing maybe 10 managers to use, I might use Terak. I wouldnt put him in a pile of 10 I completely rule out.
I like Walpurgis and Mollock behind him, I had Terak as a crazed zookeeper who would unleash his beasts on the federation ... almost all crazed animals came in through this angle. They had an AWESOME feud with the Ani-Men at one point.

My worst manager was Solaris...unless of course he was interfering by diving off the turnbuckle. Then he was a stud. LMAO!!!! Trying to picture Solaris diving off the turnbuckle...Keep getting Ric Flair images and that's not healthy. My worst manager has to be Reynard B. Guile. I simply hated his character 100%. While he found great talent (i.e. Bounty Hunter, etc.), he was just a crappy manager. Then, when he made the move in 2105, he got even worse. Maybe it's those huge Bugs Bunny teeth of his. Whatever the case, Guile just blows.

I'll try.
Terak never had a great amount of talent under his wing. A lot of up and comers and super green rookies. His teams were never very successful but then you can only do so much with weak talent. But look at the long term to him being a manager. Wildcat and Talon went on to bigger and better things and you could argue that maybe his guidance during their early years had an effect.
Compare that to Colby. He had all the talent in the galaxy and couldn't accomplish much.
So who's worse?
The guy that has trouble winning with Karah, Gila and Sectarian.....
or....
The guy that has trouble winning with Chaos, Matador of M83 and Janus the Overman?

It's hard to make an arguement that anyone could be a worse manager than Terak. He was a character that was just very stale, even as a wrestler, but even more so as a manager. Walpurgis....need I say more?
