I have this idea for a special match that maybe Murdok could introduce to the aCe. It wouldn't be anything special, just a modified lumberjack match where ringside is surrounded by zombies.
And basically when a wrestler who isn't a Crusade member is tossed to the outside he is attacked by the zombies and possibly infected. It would need a special zombie chart for when someone is tossed out, but that would be about it.
It would be the type of match that would heavily favor Murdok, and something I could totally see the Harvester introducing.
What do you guys think? Is it worth putting together? Would you be interested?

My only caution would be to be extremely judicious about how often you pass out the Plague in that match. It should probably be pretty rare. Kris was looking for some matches to include in a book of matches to go along with aCe 2121/COTGonline ... you oughta run this by him when he gets back next weekend. He'd flip for it. |

I was thinking of maybe calling the match just The Sea of Flesh.
Though I dunno.
As far as the plague goes, yeah, it should be pretty rare.
I was wondering though, How does Osk work being infected with the plague? What kind of injury time or whatever would be appropriate?

Not a good thing. That's why I said to be careful with it. For close calls with the Plague, look at the back of Trisis' card for ideas. And don't forget that the Ravagers are immune to the plague. Sea of Flesh is an AWESOME name, by the way. |

I'll make sure to include something in the rules that says that Ravagers are imune to the plague and thus to ingnore any "infected or close call" rolls when wrestlers of those types are involved.
Imagine Aegis vs. Murdok, with the ringside covered surrounded by hordes of zombies. The stench intself would be sickening. Now imagine Aegis being tossed outside and being consumed by the sea of flesh as the corpses try to get at him. Sick.
I hope Osk likes it and uses it.
I'll see what i can come up with today.

Sounds like a possibly gruesome and really fun match. aCe needs some more unique matches so I'd like to see it.

I'm feeling the concept of a "zombie lumberjack match."
I do however, already have a new Plague game mechanic in store for 2121 though, so it sort of takes away the oomph from the Sea of Flesh.
Not to mention, we've got the Centrapolis Street Fight, and "WCW Wargames" style match already lined up.
That being said though, I think this is still a rad enough concept to be worked with. The aCe is definitely in need of some sort of "zombie/horror" match.
Let's keep working on it, Death Match.
