Sudden Death Alternate History...

Hello all,

I am sure this thread has been written before years ago, but I am in 2094 after so many restarts that this is the first time I have ever reached this far !!

In my fed Chaos has finally hit his hot streak. Alpha Force owned him in 2093, but in a strange reversal of fortune, once Sudden Death kicked in, he is unstoppable, and has destroyed all the Champions of the Galaxy in all kinds of one on one and tag team matches. It's only Summer 94, but I am starting to seriously consider alternate storylines for Colby winning Sudden Death !! I have already decided that I am going to alter storylines as they come up as the dice fall to test my creativity, as I am going to stick with the same cards in the following sets.

So my question is...for any of the Sudden Death / Mega Tournament / Cosmic Battle scenarios...who went with their own results, and what did you do ?

...and if you didn't, how the heck did you explain that to the fans in your history ?

I am planning on making extensive use of my LWA (Legends Wrestling Association) to accomodate banished wrestlers, and provide new ones to fill roster gaps. I am using the semi-official cloneworld storyline with that one obviously.

I've only made it to Sudden Death once, but the time I did I made it that the fans were voting for the winner, rather than it being decided in the ring, so I could go with the book story... The Glads were abolutely KILLING W.A.R., so it was that or banish Dreggs or something...

In retrospect, its only a two year banishment, so I'll probably go with the actual winners, and adjust accordingly, if I ever get there again

As I have stated a few times before, for all Sudden Death years, I have banished not just one wrestler at the end, but TWO!

I created my own groups after that, using the official book as a guideline. One other difference had been the fact that the Royal Court had actually WON the first Sudden Death. I think I kept Royal Overlord around for a bit, and I wanted to keep Count NeCros around, but I didn't. I usually went with what the booklet said for the second banishment (some said they would voluteer to be banished, others said luck of the draw).

Anyway, having TWO banishments per team make the stakes of losing all that much more dramatic. Maybe you should try it?

The Sudden Death banishments . I just went along with the book , even if in my fed someone else won the feud . I never explained anything just got on with it . I think most people did because it was much easier . Thinking back maybe we should of just carried on with our own winners .
