Ok...I have the aCe sets released so far....and I am really wanting to run the fed....but, will it continue?
What I am asking is this....
Once 2121 is over, with the aCe cease to exist? Or will it continue in some form or manner?
Does anyone know yet? My time I can spend "rolling the dice" is limited somewhat (work, 2 boys, wife, a new born....) that I don't want to put the time and effort into aCe just to have it "shut down" within 3 game years....

Assuming that it does end after the next installement, you could always use them in the other feds or continue aCe by seeding it with new wrestlers.
But this is coming form someone that hasn't followed the books by the letter in a looong time.

Near as I know, we don't know either way yet. I don't think there's been any sort of official word on this yet.
Having said that, though, I think it's a good investment of the time either way, as the birth of a new, ongoing fed or as a three-year contained story. The story's great, and it's got a whole different feel than the GWF does because of the seriousness of what's going on. It's good stuff.

I think aCe should stick around...to me it's just more interesting than CPC and CPC has had it's run... no offense to CPC fans

I love the concept....I love the characters....I love the setting....
but I have a hard time devoting any energy to it if it is going to be gone after 3 game editions.....I can spend that time on my EC fed (which is the reason I have a hard time running anything for my NB or my LoW feds).........
I want to play aCe, but...where will it be in 2122?

I could also see someone running with aCe in bootleg form if Tom decides he's done with it, sorta like the WGX sets back in the day...
I think aCe is unique enough to really make it worth playing, even if it does end.
Once I get my current fed up to "real time" I'll definately be going back to aCe.

Nothings been finalized...but its very safe to assume all those characters and storylines won't be completely "shut down," even though the game editions named aCe just might. In otherwords, the aCe as a fed will be at LEAST 3 sets long. But, even if the fed folds, I'd expect the characters and some of the stories and feuds to officially continue...somewhere. No matter which direction Tom decides to go, the aCe certainly won't simply "cease to exist" after the Battle for Centra ends. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got an aCe tournament card to play...and Mino, you've got an aCe fed to start.  ~ :-Xsk |
