Quick question for Kris, or anyone else in the know.
I know that aCe characters play around with the mechanics in a number of interesting ways (potential finishers on L1O, et al.). In addition, some of them seem to be "exceptions" to the most basic rules (e.g., one member of Darkness Falls has into the ropes (c), into the turnbuckle (c), out of the ring (c), and deathjump (c), on its offense). Are these also intentional?
I assume the answer is yes, but wanted to double check.

There are also wrestler like Avarice who have no (pw) or (ag) options on their cards. I meant to ask Kris about this at GCOn and forgot.
Good topic.

Sorry Shadows and Swarm, didn't even see this old post until today. Sometimes in the aCe the "basic rules" are intentionally bent...off the top of my head, Hybrid having the OUT OF THE RING on Level 2 Offense. (as an FYI, I tried to have a roll of 6 on Lvl 1 Offense also be Out of the Ring, but Tom wouldn't bite). However, when tinkering so much with the "special rules" aCe features, the basics sometimes get missed...especially being that I'm not as familiar with them as Tom (or some of you for that matter). So, if you ask specifically I can tell you, Jakyll or Krypt having all four choice charts was NOT planned...just happened that way. BUT, give me a little credit...I did sneak the no (pw) and (ag) stuff for Avarice under the radar. I look at it this way...the guy is so proficient at his move set (his training/upbringing backstory explain why), he's able to hit anyone with any move. His agility and power can still come into play in many other ways during the course of a match. ~ :-Xsk
