SPOILERS ahead, next 4 miles. Expect delays. Have a nice day.
Okay, I've got a couple of questions about how Aegis' BattleGear rule works in a couple of situations:
Can we pretend that he's a Ravager, IPU, etc? For example, can we pretend he's a zombie and make NUCLEAR WINTER a (+1) instead of a (+3)?
If that's a yes, then do we likewise pretend he's a Ravager when rolling on the Trisis chart? (This would rule!)
Finally, what about GUILTY OF TREASON? Does it become a (0)?
I think that the answer to all of these is "yes," but I want to make sure I'm not reading or understanding Osk's intent incorrectly.

GLEENew Aegis rocks, Osk. Downgrade shmowngrade. My fed needs Aegis running around in BattleGear yelling "You can't kill me" and actually meaning it.

Agreed BDS, this battle armor is PERFECT for your fed, hmm I wonder if you had anything do do with it. BTW, not sure if anyone pointed this out to you, Mr. Osk, but the word "special" is mispelled (two different wrong ways, no less) in the fine print.. feel free to correct it and make our cards "super special error limited edition) ones

While his finisher may miss a little more often, he's going to be doing a lot better I think and will be the class of his team from now on.

No way! The class of the ROC is and will remain Lance At-Las! Or maybe that's just in my fed ...
In any event, I can't lay any claim to making SE Aegis as cool as he is. I'm just lucky that he fits so well into my fed. I can't wait to read about the story behind the armor so I can figure out how to work him in.
SE Murdok's going in following my next card, though. I'm actually rewriting the end of the card specifically to bring it about.

Daddy, The answer is YES to all the questions posed. Hey, Osk, don't you love it when someone does all the grunt work for you and all you have to do is say, "Yup"? Me, too.

Okay, Osk, I've got another one for you.
Is the special ability on Godsend's SPEAK OF THE DEVIL considered "excessive damage" and thereby blocked by the BattleGear?

Is it me or is Aegis armor look to be based on Boba Fett's?

Is the special ability on Godsend's SPEAK OF THE DEVIL considered "excessive damage" and thereby blocked by the BattleGear? I thought this one might come up. Nah, I don't consider the effect (or is it affect?) of SPEAK OF THE DEVIL to be a "damage" move. Godsend's SotD is a different kind (first of it's kind maybe?) of game mechanic. Especially being that it's not suffered until the next card. You guys agree here? ~ :-Xsk

Yeah. No reason the armor should be able to protect against it in my mind.
