Yes, Endgame is one my favorite GWF characters ever and, yes, I'm generally a babyface mark thru and thru, so I'm trying not to be biased here.
If you believe as I do that Endgame has the best card in the game ever (well, not counting D-3000), then maybe you'll agree with me that I still don't think Endgame has received his due. Has Endgame ever received the hype or respect he deserves....nope. Heck, the Monolith and Chaos countdown hype was bigger than the Y2K countdown. Geez, even busts like Holocaust and Paragon got more press and bigger fueds than Endgame. The greatest wrestler in the game was slid in the back door a few years ago like Tom was ashamed of him or something, then we can't seem to decide on where he's really from, and in the latest edition he gets a secondary feud.
The Dark Menace is working behind the scenes so that Endgame doesn't get his due, I tell ya. ;D

Endgame does need more of a personality, but not everyone can have the benefit of a good backstory. Besides, heels are usually more fun to write, at least in my case. That's why they tend to get the hype.
Let's hope we see more from him in the future. It wouldn't do to have another guy fall through the cracks a la Euritar. Somehow I doubt that will happen, though.

Well look how Euritar wound up all's well that ends well He's absolutely dominating my CPC since his return.

I don't know...Endgame got a ton of hype when his first card came out...
I know Tom loves him...and I'm sure he has big plans for him...
I think part of Endgame's draw is the mysteries that surround him...
I'm sure one day there will be a set where he gets an updated card and is the focus. Just a guess though.

I do agree as well. It was a different kind of push, but I remember a big deal being made about Endgame's arrival too. That and his abilities made him a major player immediately.
He's sort of the quiet hero on a quiet team. Tauran is much the same way though obviously nowhere near as good. Anivar is the first signs of a real attitude on that team.
I would imagine Endgame's story or situation will go nowhere but up.

I figure Endgame's going to get some spotlight time in 2122, going up against Monolith.

I love Endgame, and I love the way Tom has written him. He's the ultimate "good guy", yet there's such mystery about him.

He's had a terrible run in my fed, though. Won his first match (against Slave Beast) and hasn't had a victory since. The dice are not his friends.
