Who is this guy? Who was he in the GWF? I am asking because I have never gotten that far with GWF to use Painmaster... and now everyone's tootin' his fraggin horn! A bit about him would help since he's gonna be HUGE in aCe in 2120. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang Mr. Osk! MMD!  |

He was originally a crony for Mandrill. For reasons never fully understood, Mandrill attacked him and forced him to stay in Dimension Y. Eventually he came back and had a brief feud with Mandrill till Mandrill retired.

In less than 2 weeks he is about to beat Bloodline for the GWF Galaxian title ... Pain is comin and there's nothing Bloodline can do to avoid it ... (which if he was to win he would have the Galaxian and tag titles - he just lost the IP to Paralyze a few weeks back)

painmaster is making his debut in about 15 minutes in my ACE fed. this guy is a great character to have in this set. i think i might just let him roam free for now before i hook him in with any group

Painmaster is now 3-0 in my ace fed , 2 of his matches i thought he was down for the count but he managed to keep it together and pull out a huge upset.

PAINMASTER WINS MEGATOURNAMENT!!! A little known GALACTICON fact: Painmaster won some huge 64 man tournament or something (help me out here Tournament Todd) at a GCON a few years ago. Maybe the most under-rated guy ever? I've never heard anyone say he didn't do god to great things in thier fed(s). |

The Genesis/Colonizer feud has lasting implications in my fed as every superstar brought in because of it did awesome in my federations ...
Vertigo - was awesome and he and Wraith almost had the tag titles if it weren't for Tocsin. Vertigo still manages here and there and I still love his character.
Tocsin - Anothe character I loved, he came close to many titles but barely got snapped in the end. I loved the Sentry card as it was fun to use.
Nefarus & Vendetta - had a couple good tag title runs, were the best in the league at one point
Max Shield - came on to late to be hall of fame worthy, surged for titles in the last couple months of his career.
Mandrill - same thing, became the dominant heel champ too late, defeated Max Shield to I guess win the feud in the end.
Genocide and Steele Freak - Genocide was an awesome champion and I wish I had kept him around. Steele Freak is only mediocre for me.
Blizzard - dominating my CPC mid card right now
Wraith - dominating the entire CPC right now
Painmaster - dominating the entire GWF right now
I wish Tom had kept this feud going in some light because a lot of people from this feud went on to become superstars, Kris makes a good move to get Painmaster to ACE because he's got some good years left in him and he is going to get some titles.

holy cow! I never realized how well PM was doing in their feds! I ended up exiling him from my GWF, he just never went anywhere. Is he the type that is slow to get going, but once he does he's unstoppable? He was just a total flop in my fed.
Sorry, just had to say something, it was shocking to read all of these.

Yeah it's one of those weird things in the game ... a thing that I think makes a lot of people go back and play and try to develop a character better.
Here's sort of an example, I brought in Chaos and I started him off upper tier and he did ok. He never did as good as everyone said. When I brought him down and through the ranks is when he caught fire and grabbed his one and only title reign.
As strange as this sounds, a lot of this game is booking. I know what your saying (the dice control things) but like in real wrestling I do believe momentum plays into the game. Which brings us to Painmaster, he has lost one match since June ... he is on fire just dominating people right now because I have spent almost a year deliberatly building this guy up through the ranks. He got the tag titles, which he built on to get the IP title, he then used the momentum to grab the top title in the fed. I really believe the way I set up his push I made Painmaster the star he is. I built him up instead of just throwing him into the main event picture.
PS - I also did the same with Wraith, I built him up as a career killer having him destroy jobbers i wanted out of the fed. He gained momentum and then career ended Paragon to take the CPC title and now he is just unstoppable.

PainMaster was fairly strong for me. He held my IP title for a bit before Mandrill bailed and he headed back to aCe.
