Hey there fellas,
I've been without internet access for going on a month now and I'm glad to see there's been some aCe talk while I was away.
I wanted to first thank everyone who attended my Q & A and especially all you who hurled those great questions at me.
Since I don't have "official" access to the 'net just yet (supposedly getting it back up and running in a week or so), I'm gonna just do a fat post that covers it all.
The aCe flyer is hopefully going to be inserted in the next Promoter (for any who missed G-Con). It offers a few 2120 storyline teasers, but it's main purpose was to inform everyone that PainMaster has been signed by the aCe. As of now, I guess he's sort of like a "free agent," waiting for the best offer. I know people like to play it out with at least a direction in mind of where he'll land in the next set, so let me just remind all of you that PainMaster is an evil dude...or at least that's how *I* interpret him. And another hint...expect him to bring a new "buddy" to the party. (and no, I said 'new,' it's not any washed up scrubs like Tocsin).
As for the folks that missed the Q & A and are looking for solid facts that I can let out, I can tell you this: Ventross will be updated, Godsend will be updated, and there will be a returning character who will rival for the biggest spot in the league.
Expect a scary new Ravager too.

Kris-
The ideas you were talking about at Galacticon were the best ideas I heard that whole weekend. Keep doing your thing!

aCe 2120 sounds great, I'm just wondering if we will see a updated team card like the one from 2119? This is a good way to keep track of the teams, and it is a unique card in this new series. Playing aCe has a whole different feel, not sure if I can explain it, but it is a great new promotion.

Great ideas for aCe 2120. Kris, they are so good that I could place a big wet one right where it counts... on YOUR lips! *lol* Oops... I mean to say on Trisis' lips. MMD!

Thanks fellas. Hey Dennis! Real good question. What I'm thinking now is that i'd like to have all the card spots (oh....alright, it's 10) be used up by new or updated guys (or gals). BUT, now that you made your point I'm reaffirming my fondness for the original Character Race Description card. It WAS unique and it would be very cool to have that unique card in each aCe edition...however many there may be. So, fellas, what do YOU think? Would you rather losing a new character or update (i've got like 14 potentials and theyre FIGHTING for those 10 slots, so noone will be shabby...promise.) ~OR~ would you be willing to sacrifice that unique, potentially 'collectors item' style card? Would the Chart on the back of the booklet suffice? I know it would be missing something in those regards...hmmm. talk to me ~kris :-Xsk

I like the character race classification card. With some of the special moves in the set it is very necessary to keep all of the races straight. But I wouldn't want to see a new character or update sacrificed for the sake of having that card. Like you wrote, putting the updated chart on the back of the booklet would suffice.

I'd vote for the chart being on the back of the book, or as an 11th SE card.

Put the character classification chart on the back of the booklet along with new alliances.... That would save up space for a new character. That's just my blog. kiss kiss bang bang band mr. okkeedoodle

I would also agree with the back of the book, that way a character isn't sacrificed for it

In the book. It would be much easier that way.

Well, I like the character race classification card. But I wouldn't want to see a new character or update sacrificed for the sake of having that card. Put it on the back of the book.

Back of the book. I will just photo-copy it...cut it out and slip it into a plastic cover like the rest of my cards and it will be just like having a card for it.
No big deal.

Definately gotta agree with the rest of the crew and say back of the book. I would prefer to see all game year specific info in the booklet itself rather than have part of it on a separate card.
I'm really looking forward to seeing all the new arrivals for 2120 and what new game mechanics you will bring into aCe with these new characters.
10 cards for aCe. Thats two more than the CPC gets. I guess Tom must really like you. ;D

*starts the '10 cards for CPC' petition*
Although this year GWF and CPC got the same number of cards, if you don't count Dark Menace (limited release unless you buy the book).

Well Mark gets 10 as well, but anyways, right now we're trying to build up aCe so it makes sense for it to be at 10. Later down the road it might only be 8.
