Cool, KK drew AX.....that just makes the set that much more interesting. I think that this may be the first Kevin Knipe drawing not printed in color. Is this true?

Hey guys! AX a.k.a Assassin X is finished! My profile pic is the last AX version in Color! I spent a good 9 hours on this card so I hope you guys like him! After drawing and scrapping a few ideas I finally came up with a drawing that I thought would be acceptable! Keith always complains that I through out drawings that people would use. I have a sneak peak at the card for those who would like to see him. I have also updated the gallery page with a large photo as well. The original pencil and inks will be posted soon. As far as my first Black and White printed card this will be my first as an official card! Tom usually wants my experence with color but I actually did a black and white inked drawing to conform to the rest of the set. I perfer color because I can add alot more detail to the drawing when coloring. But I really do like the way he came out. Troy is correct, NAWC Series One was the only other black and white cards that I produced and had printed. The reason I decided to switch to color was the black and white cards were costing me the same as the color so I decided to create in color and never went back B&W. Plus now I am expected to create in color so this card will be a treat for those who perfer B&W. I also added on to his bio for this set. His bio will link back to the NAWC. I didnt want to recreate a whole new bio and use the same character that I have had been developing over the last 5 years. Assassin X is one of my comic book creations that I did when I was 17 one day I will have to post the actual cover art with AX holding an Axe to attempt to Kill another old character Halfmoon. linked posted below with the card shot. I didnt want to reveal to much so it will be more of a surprise when you see the complete card. www.krazykards.com/main.phpHAPPY NEW YEAR Kevin

Yeah Kevin, looks like a very intriguing character and I think the art is going to look incredible on an official card. It occurs to me that this set is could really revitalize the post-New Beginning GWF. Tom has been going in exciting new directions and building the next generation of young epic plotlines. But the Promoter Madness set is going to be a wonderful aspect of this fresh start. I have always been a GWF purist. I never used homemade characters in the GWF and have by and large always used Tom's official storylines. However, this set will allow promoters like myself to implement a whole set worth of exciting neutral(unattached) characters in an official capacity and use them however we wish. I am very excited. Neutral and loner characters have always been my favorite and I can't wait to fill my fed with hot young headhunters.

Tremendous art, this set just can't stop getting better. The artwork on this character makes him an automatic useable character, story lines will be found for him. Awesome work, Kevin, I have always felt that your art was somewhat underrated, I don't think that will be the case any longer. I am really looking forward to have this set in my hands. On a personal note, the fact that Josh and I both got have a character in this set makes it so special for us both (Josh doesn't really type on-line often, so I hope he doesn't mind I speak for him). The art for the Surgeon is dead-on, and Leviathan (I feel is more of a story driven character, so the art wasn't the priority -- although I do love it -- don't let me give you the wrong idea) is great.
