Well, he isn't in a crouched position when he kicks, I'm sure that's just how he is posed before he unwinds and kicks.

Absolutely phenomenal. All 3 of the previewed pics have been incredible, Werner somehow continues to top himself, just great work. This set is truly going to be something special.

ENSOR, MARTIAN DEFENSE FIGHTEROne of the first wrestlers recruited to the GWF Zone years ago was Ensor. Discovered by his childhood hero, Star Warrior, this proud and noble fighter has been being trained for the past four years to eventually one day enter the GWF and represent the FDF. But what dark stories from his past still haunt Ensor? And what recent revelations involving Star Warrior, his hero, have him reliving those troubled times? A young man in the mold of a classic superhero, Ensor aims to battle the villains of the GWF one day with spectacular moves such as Flight to Phobos, Leap from Olympus, and ERUPTION OF THARSIS, a stunning superkick from a crouched position. Wait till you hear about his past, and the reason why this hero, while classic in form, is also a conflicted and troubled young fighter. Ensor was created by Matt Dickendesher and, of course, this awesome piece of art was drawn by Werner Mueck. PROMOTER MADNESS IS COMING! Rob and Werner, to borrow a one-word phrase from a friend of mine:

Ensor is my favorite one yet. The others were great drawings but as a character I think Ensor appeals to me the most.

After helping Tim review the cards, it's nice to see them coming to life. Werner's doing a great job with the artwork, good work to all involved!

Werner, I just got a call from Byron. He saw your pencil sketch and wants you to give his avatar's agent's secretary's secretary a call. Told him I'd pass it along.

Just wanted to say I recieved ASSASSIN X last night from Kevin Knipe (he drew him himself) and it is really incredible!
The drawing reminds me a lot of the latest Murdok drawing...just in style of course, he looks nothing like Murdok...
This set is going to shock people. Remember I said that...
