Well I heard Frank Shamrock was looking to fight Tito after his contract ran up in the ufc.
If I were Tito I think that seems like a lot more of an appealing fight. Hell as a fan I like that fight alot more. Frank wasn't able to hold of a Gracie from taking him down imagine what Tito would do?
With those two big mouths pushing the match it sounds like it would stand to make damn good money.

You clearly aren't paying attention to Frankie.
Before fighting Phil Baroni he said he's not just interested in fighting any one.. buy the people who will make the most money.
Duce... like it or not it makes for good business.
After seeing Cung Lee's last fight online.. I think Frank would just take him to the ground and beat him there. I have no desire to see the number one thorn in Dana White's side continue to shine. THIS MUST END! (LOL).

It's a great fight on paper. But it's not what Frankie's looking for and we all know he's trying to sell tickets.
As for Robbie Lawler.. I think Frank's beneath him.

I just said who I'd rather see him fight then a guy who saw the second coming and completely changed his life after Frank popped his endurance cherry.
Dana should try to book MATT LINDLAND versus FRANK SHAMROCK minor circuit promoters/world class 185 fighters. Who ever wins fights Dana so he can prove how good his supposed "amatuer boxing career" was against his "peers".

Though not the most entertaining fighter you cant ignore Machida's skill and impeccable record. The guy deserves his chance. I hope Tito takes this one but wont blame him if he doesnt.

I some how don't see Machida talking about after parties (LOL).
Who exactly consists of the idiot brigade any way? Sherdoggers? If I recall correctly I remember when every week there use to be a new Machida thread at Sherdog(due to his wins over Franklin and Penn).

Well duh.. They never wanted to be on his side or give him respect in the first place. Hell I don’t (at least after seeing him fight). I mean even at Cotg most people want to seem him fight to further advance the top 10. How many people here (besides Duce, feel free to jump in) would watch Machida fight.. Just for watching Machida fight. Lets say against, some random Ifl light heavy weight.
The only reason if I were to look forward to his fights were to be if he can prove himself against the next level of competition or not. If he can swell he keeps moving up, if not goodie I don’t have to pay attention to him anymore.
I’m not his fan. Hell I’ll say that right now.
I dislike him... and not in a Cro Cop kinda way. At least when I hate Cro Cop... I look forward to his matches. It’s one thing to have fans hate you. It’s a whole other thing to have fans just not care.
And they only care about him because he’s winning right now.

I see Machida as the Sonny Chiba of MMA. Some of his moves look bland but they have hidden trips and maddeningly quick counterstriking attempts. With a missed kick he swings a back hand a split second after the kick misses its mark. His overhand punches/leg trips. Good stuff. The idiot brigand is Hollywood. The chuck and larrys and Cindys and everybody loves Raymond. Those turds who get people to watch because they are watching. They are the kind that just remember the names ontop of the tickets. Her at an event doesn't get PPV buys as much as it sells tickets. Tickets for the front rows can be hiked up beyond 500$ dollar level at some events. Yep he needs sleep. I saw a wrestling event back in the day and the only fight I recall was Demolition taking on the bulldogs (live). I loved it. But hay I was a little kid.
Would the cage (if i went to the show) ubstruct my fan sight of the fight? Looks like it might. To my total shame I've never seen a mma event live.
If Machida makes it big, it'll be because he earned it. Certain people blow up to a certain level and it's not always because of who they beat.
Who knows if he would fought Forrest back in the day like he was suppose to he might have already.
