I'll admit both of these guys haven't looked the same in their last two fights. Does that mean that they are "B" level fighters if they lose again? I think that US fans are way to concerned with Wins and Losses as opposed to the fighter's performances. I dont think I've ever seen a fight where either of these guys have had a poor performance. Yes, they caught and KO'd but never went out there just to survive. These guys always come to fight. Win or lose I'd pay cash to see these guys fight again and again. I think I'm getting a little tired of "internet experts" sitting behind a keyboard saying some one is washed up because of 2 losses (or more). Some of my facvorite fighters have way less than perfect records (ex; Mezger, Nakamura). Long as they come to fight and give it their all, they have a fan in me.

I agree with you Crip...2 losses don't mean they're washed up...it's an unscripted world where anything can happen. They get caught and then lose a fight. On any given day they could fight their losses again and beat them just as easily as they lost. I hate it with the "experts" too...what do they know? It's easy to talk big from behind a monitor and keyboard.

Funny thing you asked this question. As I was picking my choice on the MMA fantasy league I wondered if people would say that about the loser of the fight. These 2 guys always give their all and I think it is tiring to hear "experts" say after a few loses in a row that " Oh, he's done" ....that is nonsense. I agree that chuck and Wandi can fight and lose a bunch more and people would still pay to see them. Chuck seems to be a very personable fighter and that connects with people that are fans of the sport. I think it sucks that "fans" say to can a guy if he hasnt won every fight he has fought.

I think it sucks that "fans" say to can a guy if he hasnt won every fight he has fought. They are fighting to win. If they start losing everytime out, they have started to suck and we should be watching people who don't suck. That said, I could see Chuck hang it up with a loss. If Wandy loses I think he still has a couple gatekeeper fights in him. He wins any of those and then he could stick around.

In chucks case I hear alot of fans say that he cant do what he has in the past, and that he is done. Now, if he wins tonight the same fans will say " Oh, a comeback is on...The Iceman is back ! " ...That bothers me to no end. You cant win every fight. I think as long as it is entertaining why let the guy loose ? Who knows, If chuck loses he may stay, I havent heard if he has signed a new deal or if he still has fights left. I like them both and by the way I chose Wandi for $60.00 in the MMA fantasy League.

Speaking of Chuck Liddell,
What is the real story about Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz?
I'm not an expert on UFC, but aren't they supposed to be enemies?
I'm just wondering because here in Las Vegas I see/hear news stories about them hanging out together at the same nightclubs on weekends when UFC has a card here.

Tito was saying while being champion that he would give chuck a title shot.... then tito fought shamrock and then said basically that he has to thnk about the chuck fight because they were friends ( chuck wanted to fight him but tito was ducking him) ...then the match was scheduled and all of a sudden tito was saying he hates chuck and chuck hates him. Seems like it was a promotional thing to hype the fight.

Show was top notch as always.
I'm shocked and happy to see the Liddel Wanderlei fight lived up to the hype.
Was suprised by alot of the outcomes on the fight card. I think this should shake up the top ten of the light weight division some what.

Excellent card all around. Sanchez was boring since he didn't have Cro Cop chasing him around the cage. Other than that all the fights were exciting. I had a hard time staying in my seat for Silva/Liddell.
I would like to see GSP beat Serra then have Hughes and Serra fight so we can at least see that fight happen. We all know GSP has it in him.
Feed Rashad to Liddell. Can't stand Rashad. Don't know who exactly I would want to see against Silva though. Pretty much would be happy to see him fight anybody. Silva vs. Houston Alexander might be an exciting fight.
Machida also looked very impressive. Maybe put him against Thiago Silva.
I also would love to see a Manny Gamburyan (sp?) vs. Nate Diaz rematch at some point. It was a shame to see Diaz win that fight/contract.
