Fine.. War machine worked me. I'm a sucker. I value my father. If that makes me a lesser person for respecting war for that reason I guess I suck.
Getting pity from you guys is like blood from a rock.
Honestly I'm shocked no one said War worked that fight. He leaned up and said something before doing that reversal. I didn't say anything because War broke down and cryed after the fight.. and I didn't want to look like a world class douche bag...
but for a splitt second I kinda wondered.
I remember braking down like that after one of my uncles passed away after trying so hard not to. The kinda tears that just come when your busting your butt not to let them. I heard it in the tone when he talked. But hay I guess I'm just a sucker.

SAN DIEGO – Jon Koppenhaver, known as “War Machine” from Spike TV's reality series “Ultimate Fighting Championship,” appeared before a Superior Court judge Thursday on felony assault and battery charges.
The professional cage-fighter is accused of hitting and choking a Las Vegas man unconscious and hitting him in the face outside San Diego's Undisputed fitness and training center early Sept. 2.

During Thursday's preliminary hearing, Darren Zatkow testified that he was visiting San Diego with his then-girlfriend when he was assaulted outside the club after a night of drinks on the town.
He said he was confronted by a group of men without shirts who surrounded him as he left the club. He said he was grabbed in a carotid choke hold and dragged a few feet from his friends by one of the men. Zatkow said he did not see who grabbed him from behind.
Zatkow, who practices martial arts but has never competed in tournaments, said he became unconscious 10 seconds after he was choked and regained consciousness moments later.
Friends of Zatkow's who testified said he was punched in the face while he lay unconscious on the ground. Zatkow, however, said he was not aware of the punch until after he became conscious and felt the pain in his face.
San Diego Police Detective Fernando Ramirez said a Las Vegas doctor who saw Zatkow days after the assault determined that the facial blow caused four fractures to his left eye socket. The injuries could cause temporary or permanent nerve damage, Ramirez said. The extent of the injury is not yet known because Zatkow is still recovering, he said.
A New York man who was in San Diego at the time testified for the defense that he saw Koppenhaver hold Zatkow during the confrontation outside, but he said the person responsible for the assault was another one of the men standing outside the club.
Koppenhaver, 26, of Simi Valley, is skilled in mixed martial arts, according to his profile on the Ultimate Fighting Championship Web site, and also is a resident trainer for San Diego's Undisputed club.
Last week, he won with a technical knockout against Jared Rollins in the third round of Spike TV's Ultimate Fighter Finale held in Nevada.
The preliminary hearing was expected to continue later Thursday. If the case goes to trial and Koppenhaver is convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of seven years in prison, said prosecutor David Williams.

Ultimate Fighter 6 contestant could serve more than five years behind bars...
Fans last saw Jon "War Machine" Koppenhaver standing victorious in the Octagon after a hard-fought battle against fellow TUF 6er Jared Rollins at the Ultimate Fighter Finale. Thursday, December 13th, Koppenhaver found himself standing in front of a Superior Court Judge on Thursday fighting a new battle - one for his freedom.
"War Machine" was charged with felony assault and battery relating to September 2nd incident where a man, Darren Zatkow, alleged Koppenhaver's role in an attack outside a fitness club where he (Zatkow) was choked unconscious and repeteadly punched in the face while out.
San Diego Police Detective Fernando Ramirez said a doctor who saw Zatkow within a week of the assault determined facial blows caused multiple fractures to his left eye socket. The injuries are serious enough to where there is a possibility of permanant nerve damage. A vacationer who was in San Diego at the time testified that, while he saw Koppenhaver "hold" the victim, the strikes to the unconscious man's face were delivered by a different individual in the party.
If convicted of the crime, Koppenhaver faces a maximum penalty of seven years in prison.

Recent contestant on season six of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), Jon “War Machine” Koppenhaver, was hauled in today before a California Superior Court Judge on charges that he allegedly choked a man unconscious and punched him in the grill on September 2, according to the San Diego Tribune.
The victim in the case claims that he did not see who broke his face in the confrontation. Furthermore, an independent witness at the scene of the crime testified that Koppenhaver was involved in the incident but was not the one responsible for the damage.
“War Machine” faces a maximum of seven years in the clink if the case goes to trial and he is convicted.
Not the best news to receive just after perhaps the crowning achievement of his mixed martial arts career, stopping Jared Rollins at the TUF 6 Finale earlier this month in a three-round welterweight crowd-pleasing war.
Hopefully in the end the truth prevails and Koppenhaver is cleared of the charges … if he is indeed innocent.
