I've been playing LOW and just got in to COTG and was wondering how many fight cards there are in a year. I was thinking maybe 20 or 30 but i'm not sure

I think it really depends on your feds popularity. In the beginning I'm running 12 per year...once my fed has let's say a huge PPV or something I'll go to more. I think of 2087 being WWE circa1985. The 2119 restart would be more of a current style so could have a weely show or two already as well as a PPV each month.

I'm running one card a month with a ten-month year, but most people run more than that.

I run a weekly t.v. program with 1 ppv per month, and 2 saturday night shows in the year. As my fed grows, I plan on 2 weekly shows, then lead into a multi-brand story similar to WWE. My first "game year" had 67 cards.

I have 24 cards per game year at a rate of 2 cards per game month. It allows me to move somewhat quickly though the years while still developing a solid history.

I depends how many you want , or probably how much time you have to play cards ? . I aimed to play 52 cards a year (but never seem to do so) .

My Classics fed runs one card a month, that number will increase in later years. My Current fed runs two tv shows, plus a big event every so often, not sure how many cards that will be once my "year" is over.

I also use 24 cards...however my daughters have really started playing A LOT lately so the actual number I play is reduced. They have some interesting storyline ideas. From the brain of a teen girl. TERRIBLY SCARY when a "CUTE" drawing gets the push.

I try to run two shows a week and a big PPV a month. I try to do things like in real wrestling. Was also thinking of doing something like a roster split in the gwf.

After years of trying different formulas, I have it down to 12 to 15 cards a year. A lot of it has to do with the time restraints, as my cards can go anywhere from 20 minutes to over 2 hours playing time. If it were up to me, I'd play COTG 24/7, but I need sleep, food, medical and cat food.
It's all about balance!

umm... well I guess I run alittle bit more then others apparently. I run 2 Star System cards ala "house show" cards in between each of my 4 Galactic Battlefield telenet holovision shows and one super show "payperview" each of my gametime "months" with 12 months a year and introduce a new wrestler per super show. When my GWFZ gets the start up which will be soon it will run 1 show a game "month". My bootleg fed also runs 1 show a game "month" .

I run more than most too, with about 65 cards a game year. But it's all about finding what works for you.

I don't have a set number of cards per year but somewhere around 30 is probably about average for everyone.

I run a card every three days or so with exceptions to the rule of course...in March, I have the Bunkhouse Brawl which has only one card a week and in the Cosmic Tours that have a card a day...so, about 120 cards a year here for the GWF...
The other two, the aCe and CPC, I play whenever the feeling comes around...

I personally kinda go with a weekly model with some special arena events in between. If I feel that something needs taken care of I hold a Special Event. The number varies. As always its up to you promoter.

Josh and I run 50 cards a year, every year (Christmas week off leading to tour annual NEW YEAR"S DAY super show, and usually life gets in the way of one other), since August 7, 1989.
