Alright today I ran my latest episode of GWF Superstars, the one right before our February PPV St Valentine's Day Massacre [yeah I know, not very original but that's not the point of this thread.] The main event was a lucha type match called a torneo cibernetico though I called it a Lethal Lottery match.
The teams were: The Flying Titans, Star Warrior and Wolf vs Thantos, the Evil Ones and Massacre. The prize was a shot at the GWF Universal Championship at the PPV.
That's when the surprises started. For starters Exo-King, Massacre and Thantos were all eliminated in more or less rapid succession by Wolf, Star Warrior and Lord Nexus respectively leaving only Killer Queen and Death Knight for the heels.
So the bad guys are screwed right?
Wrong! Killer Queen, the second worst ranked wrestler in my fed, eliminated Star Warrior before Wolf eliminated her and Death Knight [0-6 before entering the match and the worst ranked wrestler in my fed] eliminated the entire remaining face team BY HIMSELF. That includes pinning both Wolf and Lord Nexus who are the two highest ranked wrestlers in my fed. Three of the biggest upsets in my fed in one match!
So, what I was wondering is, what sort of surprises have happened in your feds?

Ack! I meant him of course. *blushes* For some reason I've gotten into the habit of thinking of Killer Queen as female even though he's clearly not. My bad.

In my Classics fed, Pulsar dominated Thantos, winning the GWF Title in the process. Massif has also beaten Thantos for the GWF Title.

Yeah...some matches are weird that way! In my fed's history, I have actually had Pollux beat Chaos and Mutant beat Prodigy! However, back in the day...Killer Queen was a two time Interplanetary champion after beating Krakan and Thantos the second time...

And somewhere...Pete Beck is smiling... Yes I am! (even down here in Montgomery, AL where the AF has sent me for a professional development course until the second week of December! Then again, 80 degrees in winter is a nice change from the 40 that is hitting Colorado Springs right now...)

I think the major upsets I saw last time is Wolf could not beat Mutant. These two met on 4 or 5 occasions and everytime Mutant got the best of him. Why this is? I have no clue. I enjoyed it though, because I've never been a big Wolf fan.

Indeed, I'm hoping the wins the GWF Universal Title even though I want a long reign for the champion, who is Invincible Krakan at the moment.

My current is that Plethador has decided he doesn't wanna lose period. Either for my wife or for me. The best though I think was Dreadnaught's improbable run and victory for the Hardcore title with his death card.

Tocsin had a legendary run as my Hardcore champ beating everyone in his path including Vyper, Mensar, Mandrill among others...
when he finally dropped the belt, I retired him because it just wasn't going to ever get better than that for him...
Between that reign, and his long reign as Tag Champ w/ Painmaster, he ended up in my HOF.

DEATH KNIGHT WON! DEATH KNIGHT IS THE NEW UNIVERSAL CHAMPION!Cool huh?

The Ninja Assassins being my tag champs for 3 years (real time, not game years) was the capper to them all in my fed. Like Swarm with Tocsin, I retired them after that when the GWF moved to Centra. When you have a title reign three times as long as the next closest person, you've shown all you can show.
Darkos being a strong heavyweight champ twice was also quite shocking (no pun intended).
