One name. Gabriel Gonzaga And he's fighting Brad Imes.
Now you may not remember him (assuming you saw that fight) but last time he was in the ufc he beat k. Jorgan after a long and borring fight that had the crowd booing their a$$es off..
So why is he back? Honestly (at least so soon). I'm just greatful I won't see Brad Imes letting him stink up the place (imo). That guy seems like he'll press the action even it's unwise to.
That being said the rest of the card looks pretty good I'm glad Luke Como's back.

He probably signed one of those multi fight deals on the cheap...sad but true! That being said the rest of the card looks pretty good I'm glad Luke Como's back. Luke's one of my favorite fighters to ever come out of TUF. He has a 'go for the kill' style that makes him exciting to watch.

Kevin Jordan tapped out to a one-arm guillotine choke from Paul Buenetello... one arm guillotine? not a move.
Luke Cuomo is the bomb, I hope he continues to improve and is around for a long time.

Luke was the oddball dark horse that surprised everyone but himself.
I'm a fan.
To get choked by a one arm guillotine, the defender really has to not be trying to get out.

Not trying describes K. Jordan to a T.
If he's signed to one of those multi fight deals.. then where the hell is Gannon? I'd watch him again.. (watching a cop get beat down never gets old but that's just me).
I kinda feel bad about Luke's match though (I think Jason Von Flu is a pretty ammusing guy as well) I just don't see him pulling this one out.
The battle of the two fighter's Matt Hughes over looked. I think on that fact alone is why I want them both succeed.

Von Flue was a total dork job, but he looked pretty good in the cage IMO. When's the new season start? Should be awesome. Anyone know the fighters involved yet?

To be shown on Thursdays starting April 6.
I like that it is on Thursday better than Monday so much easier to get through one day pretty tired as opposed to four), but my team's track meets on also on Thursday, so I will miss some of it.

Mike Bisping is the only guy I'm pretty sure I recognized from the new Commercial. This guy is the real deal and stands as my early favorite to rip through the LHW Division (providing he stays healthy). Other names I've heard mentioned are Ross Pointon, Fletcher, Kendall Groves, Matt Hamill and Kalib Starnes.
Like Watching Paint Dry (UFC has done an awesome job keeping everything surrounding TUF 3 under wraps...much better than they did last season)

Nice reference post. Spike actually broke this themselves by putting up Video Profiles on the TUF 3 Fighters. Can't wait for the first show. ;D
Like Watching Paint Dry (who's going 'all in' on The Count Mike Bisping to wipe out the rest of the Light Heavyweights!)

I say Herman blows through 185, beating Rory Singer in the final match.
I'll take Bisping too, over Nichols in the final.
Bisping has beaten Poiton and Nichols has beaten Inhafer... intrigue!

I know this doesn't belong here (I just didn't want to floof Cotg with to many threads) But did anyone hear about Jeremy Horn pulling from the ppv? Now here's my gripe... where does Sherdog get off putting words in Dana White's mouth about saying Ivan Salvery is a likely pick when he doesn't even work for the ufc. It felt like the people at Sherdog where just looking for a way to rally the brain washed masses of there posters to piss and whine when Dana opts not to use him. (In the unlikely event Ivan does get signed, I'm going to look pretty dumb, and truth of the matter is, Ivan and Tanner would make a good fight, I just think it's kinda bogus to pull that kind of a statement out of thin air).

I'm looking forward to TUF 3. The coaches alone are interesting; Shamrock and Ortiz. Now Shamrock has been training people in his Lion Den for years, so this is nothing new to him. I don't know much about Ortiz so I have no clue how he'll perform as a coach.
Take care,
Jay

That's a very good point, flyer, that I really hadn't thought of. Shamrock will probably be the better coach... hope he gets Herman. I see Tito being a Matt Hughes-like asshole to the guys, but to a bigger degree.

Is Tito really that much of a Jerk? I always thought it was just the impression I got from him, but usually my impressions of people are right on.
Take care,
Jay

Is Tito really that much of a Jerk? I always thought it was just the impression I got from him, but usually my impressions of people are right on. Take care, Jay Tito tends to get a bad rap because of the 'pro wres' style heel persona he uses to build up his matches. Yet he backs it up in the ring (he took out each member of the Lions Den one by one) and has proven to be an impressive draw and fighter. Whenever he's lost he's been man enough to show immediate respect in his post interviews and in my opinion has been good for the sport. He just knows how to 'play the role'. Tito broke in as an alternate and made the most of his opportunity. He fought for 'better wages' before it was popular to do so and has found a way to keep his name alive while challenging the UFC monopoly. He has my respect.
Like Watching Paint Dry (Tito will likely outclass Forest with his superior wrestling and G&P his way to a decisive victory)
