Sokoudjou vs Karo Parisyan (Judo Tournament)tinyurl.com/yrzp9z LWPD (at the time Soko was a white belt with about a 30 lbs weight advantage...Karo was a blue belt...look for the Ippon)
Just to clarify on this: the type of tournament was blue belt/ white belt tournamenr. The belt colors have nothing to do with kyu/ dan level achievement. Basically one man is considered "blue" (Karo), the other "white" (Soko) (If one of them had a blue colored judogi, then each player would have been able to wear their attained belt level).. This is a high level match between two very experienced players. The reason for the explaination is that I saw this video in a sherdog thread a few days ago. It spawned a series of inane, and blatantly stupid comments and posts (from Sherdog? Never!!!!). So, to clarify, both of thses guys ARE of the black belt level. Trust me. Interesting to watch how Karo uses superior grips to pull the larger and admittedly "freakishly strong" Sokoudjou off balance, even if ever so slightly. Finish is with a morote gari- two handed reap; Also know as a double leg takedown.

"Expert" may be a little much; I think that title would belong to tdalton on this board. I am more of an "aficionado", I think.
