I wonder why that dude is 4 and 9..... I know that you are just posting this to give us some background, but even if this guy is a complete A.C, his unorthodox style makes his opponents hesitate for a brief second ( sort of like drunken boxing- kung fu mind you NOT the Saturday evening festivity) and WHAM! catches you. But this guy is really goofy. Plus that fight was over six years ago. I would like to see Arlovski fight him now- he'd probably be destroyed.

Wow... a white Alexender Otska.
I feel dirty now(LOL). I remember the first time I saw Rashad Evans fight on the UFC and thought hmm that was embersing.. I guess there's always worse some where on google. Hay if this guy beat Arlovski back in the day it's not like he ever did anything with it. One fight doesn't make you a champ, and one lose doesn't make you a chump.

It does let you know that someone can get in his head then again it could have been a knock out by head ram. I thought it was pretty amusing..
(two of his loses were by DQ)

Viacheslav Datsik is a former kickboxer and Mixed Martial Arts fighter from Ukraine. Viacheslav Datsik has attained some degree of fame in the MMA community, due in part to his dramatic knock-out of former UFC heavyweight Andrei Arlovski at the MFC World Championship in 1999,[1] and in part to his wild fighting style and notorious in-ring antics. After losing six straight fights between December of 2001 and February of 2003, Datsik seemingly disappeared completely, leading to widespread rumors that he had died in a train wreck. These rumours however were set to rest, when it was reported he was alive and well, after being detained for his part in the robbery of various mobile phone shops in St. Petersburg.[2] World champion suspected of robbing mobile shops eng.cnews.ru/news/line/indexEn.shtml?2007/02/12/235294

Arlovski should be embarassed about losing that fight. To say that Arlovski would destroy the man now is one thing but really he -should- have defeated Datsik then. He really has nobody to blame but himself.

Arlovski should be embarassed about losing that fight. To say that Arlovski would destroy the man now is one thing but really he -should- have defeated Datsik then. He really has nobody to blame but himself. Arlovski was young here and was dominating most of the match. Watching this makes me laugh and still entertains me to this day. Datsik is a clown but he has to be very skilled to act like that and not be destroyed in every fight. That being said... yeah Arlovski choked here. Right now I don't know how well Datsik is holding up in Russian prison if that will make him tougher or more serious in the future if he has one. vs. 12 yr old another link for the highlight better resolution vs. arlovski
