from fightsport Fans, who witnessed last night's Chuck Liddell vs. Jeremy Horn title fight, are saying on the internet forums that they feel Liddell may have eye gouged Horn in the eye with his thumb during the last striking exchange before the end of the fight. Right after the eye gouge, Horn signalled to the referee, 'Big' John McCarthy, that he could no longer see out of his gouged eye, resulting in McCarthy stopping the fight. If true, it would appear to be the fourth victory in a row, in which Liddell's opponent all seemed to suffer a supposedly accidental eye gouge. Coincidentally, each of these opponents suffered the eye gouge at a point in their respective fights when Liddell was having a lot of trouble employing his usual fight style. Right after the eye gouges, Liddell was then finally able to knock out his opponents, except for Horn, who got the fight stopped on him.

Chuck is a filthy boxer. If you look at all of his past victories of late they have scrapes coming from their eyes. Honestly its a pretty good tecnique... quick left thumb jab and left overhand bomb

He didn't do it to Vernon White, White's a serial whiner and shouldn't be taken seriously. Plus he broke White's orbital bone and he couldn't have done that with a thumb jab.

And there's zero evidence that he poked Horn. Horn hasn't said he was poked and with the amount of head shots he was taking it's extremely likely the guy was going to have messed up vision.

Honestly its a pretty good tecnique... quick left thumb jab and left overhand bomb I predicted Duce it would kill a small part of you before you would give Chuck LIddel credit when he won. Here's a thought, it doens't matter because Chuck was winning way before that happened. Chuck had control of the fight and if it had gone to decision I'm fairly confident he would took it. I heard one of the accounces claim he took a hit in the eye.. I dind't see a poke, and further more I don't hear you even saying you saw him do it. Yes it looks coicedental, but you can't keep your belt just off of eye pokes. Matt Hughes was kicked in the balls by Frank Trigg and he still won his fight. I'm being a good sport about the fact you proved me wrong about Trigg, (Okay the fight did that but you get the idea) just stop riding Chuck's A$$ already. He won and you hate him deal with it. It's Jeremy Horns fault for loosing for making the fight mostly a stand up brawl instead of a grappel fest. No one elses.

Randy and even Tito didn't make up exscuses for there loses to Chuck so why are you. Randy claimed he got over anxious and rushed in if you saw the PPV. I suspected as much myself this time. Yes, I was thought it was fishy in Tito and even Randy's case but Jeremy down and out lost his fight to Chuck for the most part. Did you see the fight?
