LOS ANGELES, California, August 2 — The California State Athletic Commission voted today to include several options proposed by PRIDE into it's mixed martial arts regulations that were currently under review with the commission, Sherdog.com's Josh Gross reports.

This new legislation, which includes the use of a ring and the 10-5-5 round system and special equipment like gi’s and wrestling shoes, but not the option to kick or knee to the head on the ground.

The new legislation also extends the regulation process by at least 45 days, and puts in jeopardy the entire legislation if the process is not finalized by December.

If Dana white were this Pride snuffing machine like your making it out to be, why is it that time and again his light heavy weight champions have elluded on the actaul show to fighting the Wanderlai Silvia for crying out loud? Hell Man, Wanderlai came into the ring to cut an interview with Randy. I'm just saying if Pride goes belly up the bright side (Not that I loath pride mind you) is that I won't have to hear constantly about the so called better show as much, specailly when it wasn't able to cut it in the states (I'm not saying it won't, but if it doesn't).
