Sports Nippon reports that Japanese congressman Yoshikazu Tarui is proposing legislation for the Japanese government to recognize their country as 'the mecca of fighting sports', and that the government should do more to promote tourism and the economic effects of the fight industry for Japan.
This would include the creation of projects such as a fighting sports museum. Tarui also stated he would like to have a 'Kakutogi Cup' fighting tournament established as well.
