Sources in Japan are saying that DSE/PRIDE has signed an American TV deal with the Fox Sports Network. The deal will see Fox Sports air a 1-hour PRIDE highlight show on a weekly basis. The time slot for the show will most likely be on Sunday night. www.fightsport.com/fsport/fightsport/news/news.htm

It looks like Fox Sports is starting to realize the potential boom MMA is having with the Ultimate Fighter series, and wants some of what Spike TV has. They probably realize how much they dropped the ball when they had UFC, and now wants to try and cash in with PRIDE.
I am starting to see this reported by more sources now. It seems to be a 12 week deal, and the debut episode will feature Quinton Jackson vs. Chuck Liddell (nice little message of "one of our Light Heavyweight fighters can beat the best UFC Light Heavyweight today"), Fedor vs. Goodridge, Cro Cop vs. Igor and Rampage vs. Wanderlai Silva. More MMA on free TV is always a good thing in my book.

Heh okay I'm calming down(thanks for the info). I can't beleive Fox of all people is picking up the so called "more sophisticated show" of the mma branches.... come on it's FOX! IN any case I haven't seen alot of those fights and I'll be happy as hell to finally catch them.

Unless Vitor doesn't work for UFC anymore, I would be very surprised if UFC didn't air Vitor's quick KO of Silva on one of their best of specials as retaliation.
Smart move by PRIDE to air the Cro Cop and Fedor destructions of Igor and Goodridge the week before on free TV to sell their fight for the PPV a week later.
