The following exclusive report was sent to us by our Zuffa informant called 'Coffee Guy':
"The UFC is seriously considering giving Forrest Griffin a shot at the light heavyweight title if he wins his next fight in UFC 55.
Dana White is hoping that Griffin's title shot will be against Chuck Liddell, that is if both fighters keep winning their fights of course."

Damn isn't putting Forest Griffin in the ring with Chuck.. kinda rushing things?

Thats Dana White for you. But he could hype it up and make more money from it. Forest isn't a primadonna in matters of salary.

On one hand I'm glad to see there going to keep Chuck busy and all, but this just feels like a bad idea. Oh well Woulnd't it be damn funny if Forest one?

It would be a great thing for UFC. Cause they could put alot of weight on his shoulders. Have him distance with Ninja and get a sneaky decision and then Dana could stick his tongue out at Pride.

I've yet to see Chuck go the distance, I'm starting to suspect that stanima might be the way to beat Chuck.

Pitting him and Jeremy Horn in a rematch seems likely also. So if Chuck wins or loses Dana and the UFC have a backup plan.

I finally saw Jeremy Horn fight on king of the cage tape against Vernon Tiger White... I didn't see alot out of him. I think Randy would destroy him in a head up battle.. as for Chuck well that's anyones game.
