I don't want to be a rude or anything but does it feel more and more like Sakuraba's day in the sun has long since come and gone. Is it just me or does Pride feel more and more content to keep sending Wanderlei Silvia Japenese guys in the homes they'll avenge Wanderlei repeatedly beating up on Sakuraba?

Poor Sakuraba. He didn't want to go into the third round with Arona. Then after words he was rushed to a hospital.

God I hope Randy Couture never goes on to be the beat up old fighter who's gone his duration and doesn’t have a place in mma anymore and yet decides to stick around, (the irony being is that for his age this hasn't happened yet, I think that's down right unsettling and awe inspiring).

Loved the card except for the Tamura fight. My favorite fight was definetly Shogun vs Nog. I thought both fighters fought an awesome fight. Though I was rooting for Nog Shogun's heart and ring composure imopressed the heck out of me. He was getting dominated on his feet and nearly knocked out at one point. He then changed his game plan, recouped, and put Nog on his back in the 3rd round with a strike. This guy shows alot of promise.

It looks like Pride has decided to make these matches semi offical Shogun vs. Arona (Shogun gunning for revenge against Arona for his brother Ninja)
Silva vs. Overeem (although dangerous Mr. Overeem faces an uphill battle with the sun in his eyes against the vicious axe murder!)
(Final prediction Sho-Gun vs. Silva in a classic test to see who is the top dog and alpha male in the chute box stable)
