I don't know about you but being 73-13-4 in MMA is beyond inpressive to me. Sure he has beaten alot of paper tigers. But if you look at his victories from submission; David Loiseau, Mikhail Avetisyan(three time winner of pankration world cup), Eugene Jackson, Chuck Liddell or decision; Gilbert Yvel, Dean Lister, Venon White
I think he could pull it off. It would surprize the hell out of alot of people but he could beat Chuck again

Venon White and Gilbert Yvel are over rated loud mouth no bodies. I"m not taking anything away from Jeremy Horn, in fact I'm expecting him to dust Chuck (hopefully face Randy and lose so Captain America can continue his well deserved title reign). Gilbert worthless on the ground, hell i saw Igor (Vovchanchyn) from pride take him down and submit him. Now Igors no slouch, in fact i think he's the best pride has to offer pound for pound, but he's hardly a submission expert. Isn’t this the same GIlbert who got himself disqualified against Don Fyre.

Hell yeah that'd be great! Just wait if Chuck loses... though we could have another belt highjacking BJ PENN episode or all the sudden everyones one Jeremy's bandwagon. I think the worst thing would be no one caring. Gilbert's a bitch. I'd love to kick him in the balls. Eye gouging commie! Gilbert is a lethal striker. His record speaks for itself (27-10-1) losing against Ikuhisa Minowa( yeah the guy Phil beat last bushido) to a heel hook. I would love to see this match with him www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/fightfinder.asp?search=yes&eventid=301

Its not like i didn't want to like Gilbert, if he's the same fighter i'm thinking of, he debuted against Big Daddy Goodrich and knocked him out like it was nothing. He's a great stand up, but his attitude makes Tito Ortiz look like a saint. Is there more to Vernon White, or am I selling him short?

Vernon White has earned many smaller promotions titles. He beat Vladimir Matyushenko for IFC's heavyweight belt. His record is a terrible 20 - 26 - 2. With most of his loses coming early in his career when he was in pancrase.

Jeremy Horn was recently interviewed by an internet site regarding his upcoming fight against Chuck Liddell on August 20th, and commented that he feels Chuck Liddell hasn't evolved as a fighter since the first time they fought.
Horn defeated Liddell by choking him out in UFC 19 back in 1999.

I think Jeremy is making a huge mistake to assume Chuck hasn't improved. Based upon that interview i'm betting on Chuck if Jeremy isn't going to take this seriously.

Jeremy is actually a really smart guy so he is just baiting people out. Trying to generate interest in the card. Horn is going to take Chuck VERY SERIOUSLY. It looks good on paper but it could turn into a lay and pray. Chuck's got the decision he is the champ and White likes him.

You make it sound like Dana white is Satan and Chuck's Damian, cut that out . He's a good move away from having another problem like Tito stirring up nonsense for the business. I'm sure Dana white was more than happy to let Randy run with the UFC Flag, and so what if he's accepting of the new champ? He's a business man, not a loyal fan. Chuck as a champion ( at least so far) seems to be bending over back words (from a lot of your posts) to find challengers. We need more champions like that.

Chuck does represent UFC. Hes done it in Pride. So hes Damian. No he doesn't want Randy cause Randy isn't going to be around forever and Randy has jumped ship before.

Well of course Randy;s not going to be around for ever, it's a miracle he's still as good as he is. The torch was passed, granted i'm not happy with the pic, but I mean lets face it, Randy isn't getting any younger. I'm not saying he doesn't have another run in him, but Dana does need to look towards the future. I'm sure Dana White was more than willing to support Randy, he's a good spokesman, and he won't emberse the sport. He's a class act.
